Wow that looks incredible Kim. I really like the look of the colored shavings in the resin, it kind of has a hypnotic swirling pattern to it or at least to me. I also really like the contrast of the maple and the colors of the shavings in the rest. Just love the whole thing I guess lol. You do such wonderful work and I love your videos. I watched both videos and both pieces are beautiful. I thought the collaboration was going to result in both works put together to make one piece. Up until the end I really thought you guys were making sections of a lamp that would be stacked with a little pin light shining through both and a lamp shade on top. @@KimTippin Well I had to look on my own little bottle, but in the Netherlands it's also called denatured ( gedenatureerde) alcohol. Btw, the whole idea with those coloured shavings in resin could make a nice lampekap (lampshade) , I don't know if it's possible to give the resin a slight white milky look .

you young lady are worthy of a master wood worker title, you never can stop amazing me. each time I see a new project it’s always as much or more awesome than the last. you are worth more than the price of whatever you charge. as a wood carver, maker of wonderful handmade products I know greatness when I see it . one day I hope to get a wood lathe and extend my self . I like this vase. Put a nice bouquet of pink or deep red Peonies in and you have center piece for any table with the heart colors green and pink. The form of the vase kinda reminds me of the baroque porcelain vases with handles at each side. Have a wonderful weekend with your family and pets. God bless.

So I just finished Doug's video and your video was next in my "watch later" from my subs. I must say that they are both so cool! When I saw the colors on your picnic table I thought Easter type colors but once they are all together in the resin I absolutely agree with the sea theme. Sea weed with some little colorful fish poking about in there, haha. Beautiful as always. I love your ingenuity too, not just with the plastic cups in this video but there have been other instances as well. Thank you for sharing your talents!
