Hi Kim, Just found your channel today and subscribed! I started sanding with sandpaper when I first started turning.I have pain in my shoulders and arms from a lot of hard work during my 75 years on earth.It sometimes took me several days to sand a single piece with many,many breaks.After watching Captain Eddie sand with an inertia sander I decided to give it a try and never looked back!What took me days to complete now takes me only hours.I can start with 80 grit and go straight to 100 grit without any sanding marks left from the 80 grit!On some pieces I,when my hands,arms and shoulders want to cooperate, I can start sanding at 220!I have sanding disks at 80,100,120,150,240,320 and 400.I can go through all of these stages without any hand sanding! I think that if you try an inertia sander you too will never look back! I bought 2 of the "inertia" sanding "kits" from Captain Eddie and made my own very easily,,,I think a kit costs 10 bucks!
