Easy step to forget if you're not thinking about it is after bleaching the hoodie you want to run it through the washer and dryer to make sure all the bleach is completely gone before doing your next step which is adding the color hope that helps

Forget that crap!! For really dark clothes, use a 5 gal Homer bucket 3/4 full of water & POOL CHLORINE

While it's sunbleaching on your roof go up there, sprinkle some green dye powder on it and throw some ice out on top of it. Check the next day, Rinse it. Wear fashion.

Pretty sure the RIT dyemore is for synthetic, and they recommend the boiling on the stove method. Its the only way to ensure proper water temp.

It has to be the material of the hoodie. The elastic parts almost got white but the main part was brown. So id say it’s a mixture of different fibers in that hoodie. Made that mistake before

Omg nooo.. I wonder if it would make a difference to like tie the hoodie up with rubber bands, put it in the bleach, and then untie and dye.. but tbh it might have been the material of the hoodie..

1) did you rinse the bleach out of the hoodie before you tried to dye it? the bleach will destroy the pigments if not 2) youre using dye meant for synthetic fabric/materials. try a dye meant for natural fibers

You need to use that dye over a boiling stovetop. Synthetics don’t pick up color unless it’s really hot

Most of the black yeezy gap hoodies that got dropped on the last drop were redyed hoodies. That is probably why it is so splotchy

What type of fabric is the hoodie made of because those dyes are for synthetic fabrics. For natural fabrics, you need the regular rit dye.

Ahh so thats deff where he messed up then. Does it say it right on the bottle? And for regular everyday tshirts its more than likely cotton so use the one for natursl fabrics right? Just wanting to be sure
