Does anyone know what the equivalent of Soda Ash is in Australia? because I cant seem to find it anywhere? Is Bi-Carb soda the same thing?

No, you can use Sodium carbonate.

I have read that you can turn Sodium Bicarbonate into Sodium Carbonate, by putting it into the oven. If you did a search online there are instructions.

If you use tulip one step tie dye, the soda ash is in the dye and you don't need to add it
