This is about my favorite group of colors together. I love these yarns together. The mop is stunning. Well dyed!

I am completely flabbergasted that you only have 58.9K subscribers, specially after 10 years. What is wrong with people? Other, "useless" channels have millions of subscribers. I realize that not as many people dye their own yarn, but nonetheless, this channel is so much fun. If every subscriber recommended you to only two friends, you'd already have three times the number. Come on subscribers, let's spread the love. You are a wonderful person, an amazing teacher, inspirational and fun to watch! Thank you :)

I think you should revisit successful colour combinations under the guise of showing people how to make a gradual fade set. You have lots of new viewers now and to be honest us older ones tend to forget. It’s not like you repeat things over and over again. It’s always something new to look forward to

Thank you! This is helpful to hear, because sometimes I feel like I'm drawn to the same combinations over and over and over again

I think this nails the original picture better then the first batch of yarn. I really love these colors.

Thank you so much for revisiting this! The yarn turned out even better than I expected. Now I have to hunt down the perfect pattern for it. You are a wonderful person to be a lab partner with. I hope you had a lovely Passover

Thank you so much for being my Lab Partner! Passover has been fun so far, although the kids are eating hard boiled eggs faster than I can get more.

These are great! I guess it would be fun a series about re-doing colorways that you weren't particularly happy with in the past, it would be an interesting way to think about your dyer journey :)

one thing that is funny is that I struggle to remember if I wasn't happy with a colorway months later. :D I do notice I repeat thigns by accident sometimes, though.

Definitely a valid question but, sometimes, I prefer the finished yarn mop to the original you were creating.

What is your spin dryer? Can you give a recommendation? Like a salad spinner? I’ve never heard any dyer say anything about what it actually was.
@ChemKnitsTutorials8 ай бұрын
A spin dryer is a lot like a salad spinner but much bigger. You know those little dryers they have for swim suits in gyms? It is like the spin cycle at the end of the washing machine, it gets water out without adding heat or drying. I have a Nina Soft spin dryer from Laundry Alternative, but this model is discontinued so I don't link to others as I haven't tried them myself. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mXWwoWCnr5aMnJY

I love lilac, it’s such a confusing colour! Was it one that looked different when applied cold and hot, or am I confusing it with something else? Regardless, when you first applied it I was surprised by how cool toned (and close to the royal purple) it was, but then later in the video spots of it appeared significantly redder!

Lilac is one that behaves differently cold vs hot!

I have! Here is a playlist of some videos that I did in collaboration with company that is no longer in business: kzbin.info/aero/PLFvm3Bz7dhaVHJ_FvHc50Cxo0ByDN8MDv I plan to redo some of these videos at some point to be hosted on my channel.
