So your header dropped down after you remove the clamps?

No sir the header is resting on the jack studs. Let's say another way, The 2X4's studs underneath the header are supporting the header The clamps are there for a guide to make ease of sliding header in place 🙂

If the 2x10's are 1 1/2" wide, and the 2x4 is 3" wide, why the 1/2" plywood in the middle? Wouldn't the 2x8's together suffice?

Hey buddy does an exterior header rest on top the door or spaced least 1" gap in between door top & bottom of header?

what is rough opening should I frame for double french doors, size 60 x80" please? Thanks

Give yourself at least an extra inch for height and width for doors use shims to center it and trim
