These guys became so much more focused as a band when they dropped down to being a trio. There was just too many vocalists and ideas floating around as a quintet. Less members and a more refined sound seriously improved Dying Fetus.

@@turdferguson810 Yeah, Korn is literally one of the biggest names of Nu Metal. Contacting Korn for some Nu Metal is like contacting a member of the Big 4 to get a thrash metal song on a show. Dying Fetus, although a very popular active (and "proactive") death metal band, will probably be found on the "second line", when searching up death metal, after Cannibal Corpse, Morbid Angel, Death, Suffocation, Obituary, Deicide etc.

I believe it's because it's a type of talent that resides in an art form that many find "unlistenable". Smaller populous, less deserved recognition unfortunately. It's a damn shame. Such a diverse genre of music really. Elitism in the fan base kind of ruins outside perspectives as well.

It's one of the only genre's of music that takes buckets of talent to do right, and the people doing it know they will never get rich doing it, which means the music comes from the heart.

What a beast of a band, I thought only Nile could release songs like that but these guys are an explosion of energy, brutality and ruthless strength. Gallager with that voice and his riffs, I have not seen a bassist who accompanies the solos like Sean does, the drums with that complex rhythm. Some damn Death Metal monsters. I so regret not having listened to them sooner.
