man... that part when you switch into the more woodsy areas... I never thought the game could look that good. Raytracing barely does anything for the visuals when running through the city. Besides butchering the frames of course. But wow that looked incredible in the trees. Hopefully they find a way to design the upcoming game with areas that take better advantage of the lighting systems in place. Great video!

I have no idea what you are talking about. The wood area in this video i mean you barely see anything. Its very Dark. While in the city you see al these shadows and reflections that are not even there without raytracing. No idea how you can not see that.

All zombies was looking terrible,same looking in dl1 actualy,because I have definitive edition for this one too... I can't understand why so many hates on DL2 maybe for the price...

Are there any visual mods? Gameplay wise I can't get over how awful the jump feels, such a simple mechanic, it's so weirdly linear, it's like your being pulled by a rope when you jump

Weather/lighting mod I'm working on right now, and simple HUD. I did use touch grass for a few clips, but that mod had way too much clipping and floating foliage lol. Had to turn it off. There's mods that adjust how the parkour is, claiming to be more realistic. Haven't tried them yet tho

So the optional file doesn't seem to work for me. The performance is the same and I took some comparison screenshots just to see if maybe I'm missing some detail, and that seems the same too. A shame really, I think I was more excited for that then constant grayness. Don't get me wrong that's good too sometimes, but removing clear skies completely kinda sucks actually.

Clear skies for sunrise/sunset, morning and evening are still there. I just replaced forenoon, noon, and afternoon where I think clear skies looks the weakest. And there should be a different in performance. That's weird

Do you need a 4090 for this or is it within reason? Maybe I'd set it to 2k instead of 4, but the mod looks absolutely amazing, man. If you drop this, I may actually buy the game. I really like this realistic look. Great job :)

I really wonder what you tweaked in terms of raytracing and lighting because i really do not remember this game raytracing looking this good? I would love to know what exact tweaks you did and implement them myself i start playing this game again. Played it at launch. Did about 50% in the game but stopped playing dissapointed. But now with these crazy updates. AND me having a much butter PC and OLED TV...... have to play this

I increased the Raytracing memory limit for something called blase. Increased by 4x

The graphics look same with max setting, ray tracing MOD in DL2 not much effect and not real ray tracing effect, the good ray tracing games are Cyberpunk, Witcher 3, Forza Horizon 5, I played.
