I’m glad I’m not the only one who thinks this! Sometimes I will turn on my ps4 and spawn into one of the safe areas and let it play in the background while I’d sleep because they felt so cozy

That's when we associate the concept of "home" with "safety" as if cuddled by your mother, the lack of stress and anxiety associated with survival, with "unconditional" love (we don't pay anything for staying in the tower) that we feel like in a game lobby, a free space where the "world" and the "life" hasn't started yet. We understand what "outside" means also, and it surely signifies a lot in this game. Being outside in the "dark" is the definition of fear and danger, and because of that the part of our brain that internalized the fear of darkness since childhood, I think, activates and the enjoyment of the game begins

I love how Crane collects some memorable quest souvenirs and photos of documented infected..and that you can strum your guitar. This game is incredible!

@Murder Junkie You don't know what you are talking about. The ammo bag is right there. Lower left corner. And every thing in that room is an item that's added after completing quests and side quests. It's not just random decorations it's stuff CRANE collects.

Attention to detail in this game is insane. Sound design is at an ELITE level. Art direction top notch. This game is legendary, and I dont think the sequels will ever live up to this one 😔

Yeah and I’m pretty sure the more side quests you do the more things pop up like the wizard hat is when you help Rupert in old town and I’m pretty sure the post it’s apper the more zombies you find and by the end of the game you spawn in your room and the walls are colored saying crane is a hero :)
