"Last time i saw you, we were in a hotel bed, the only window opened over an alley filled with garbage, the kind you would only jump to from a burning building. Each night as you slept beside me, I had a choice, to lay wrapped in the air our bodies had created the heavy fabric of sex or to let the reek of that alley inside, that sour gasoline, and I opened the window every time." This was so beautiful, yet so sad - you sir are incredible, never has a poem hit so close to home.

All of his poetry is wonderful, but I think this one is my favorite. I lack the words to describe how enthralled I am with his delivery and way with words. As an English major, I am envious. As a human, I am enchanted. I look forward to seeing new pieces by Dylan!

I love the first seconds of the video. It's like the embarrassment of of leaving a sordid night. And then hiding from the truth. Done it and done it.

DG, your work was transcendent, inspiration, I enjoyed the piece immensely, the camera work added to the drama, the timeline - use of the clock - was really original and I appreciate your words

I think you might be using the word difficult in two different ways, which confuses your statement. In the first I would say we're talking about the moral difficulty (courage?) of speaking something. It is not to say it would always be hard to tell someone you cheated on them, but there are scenarios in which it might be difficult. In the second, it is painful to be told, but is it difficult? It might be difficult to proceed, exist, continue, but to be told is not your choice.

im all for expressing ourselves through poetry, this poem is beuaful, but should we really be honoring cheating by giving a whole poem about a cheater a fancy video?
