This is one of our many local talented musicians. I had the opportunity to see him as a back-up for his father, James LeBlanc, recently in Shreveport. Unfortunately, he did no solo songs. I will have to catch him when he is back as the main act. I have videos up of him with his dad from the performance I saw. Under all of the videos is a link to a photo album with several hundred pictures of them playing together.

Dylan played in Shreveport in December, with his band The Pollies, at the same venue he played with his dad. I was blown away by his talent, and by the talent of the band as well. My regret is that I didn't know about him much sooner, especially since he lived only 7 blocks from me and my kids, who are a bit older than Dylan.

So, I live close to Muscle Shoals, and I'm "used to" iconic musicians. It took me about 3 songs by DL to get excited, maybe partly because I already knew about James from his work here. I'm pretty sure Dylan is my new background loop. Possibly forever.
