@@KT1995-v2m Sure, obviously small guys can sometimes overcome big guys, though more often the bigger guy wins in physical combat. Dylan has not shown any fighting skills whatsoever that would make it believable that he could beat up a muscular dude like Sears, he would have to have the element of surprise on his side or outsmart him. This is why the pie in face works to his advantage.

...looking back at these Episodes (1994-ish!?), I really hate that they didn't take the characters down 'darker' path(s), to match the intensity of the Actors....Luke was on FIRE in the pie trowing scene (0:37), Jason had real (facial) intensity w/ Lucinda (1:32), & Shannen had a natural flow w/ her Body language (2:40)....MISSED opportunities, I tell ya.......

Dylan went down a dark path the following season. Wonder if after that performance (season 5 tailspin) Luke decided to leave as Shannen had left and there was nothing else for him to do character wise and he lost his best scene partner. It would seem the only reason he came back was that he may have been typecast.

1.) Imagine how different the show would be if Lucinda had been cast as Andrea. They could have put her in glasses for that sexy nerd look. 2) Each season one of the guys should leave town for some space and end up with that horse breeding cougar Ann. She will try to lead them off the right trail and then in the season finale it is revealed she’s Satan. 3. I like how when they first show Lucinda, the exercise machine is not in view and were meant to believe Brandon is under her. Then he enters the shot and it’s disorienting. 4. The scene between Brandon and Brenda was indeed sweet. I always got the impression they might have had sex and real life, got it out of their system and then ironically the sex made them more believable as brother and sister. They really were the core of the show, and I think it suffered the further they got from that.

Only Andrea was closer to that age in the first series/season when she was playing a 15/16 year old person in the show. Most of the others where either late teens or early twenties with the exception of Luke and Ian being towards their mid to slightly later twenties. And both Tori and Brian where around 17 when they first started so a slight exaggerating to say that most of the main cast playing the young school characters were 30 yr olds playing 16 when that wasn't really the case. And these clips are of them in college being of young adult age so yes now Gabrielle was in her early 30s as was Luke and Ian. Not that it isn't the norm in most American teen dramas the teen characters are usually always played by actors and actresses ranging from early twenties til late twenties. And on a very few occasions, early 30s!! It comes down to the child laws and how much hours they can work per day so it's easy to use young adults particularly if they have young looking faces. Gabrielle may not have quite looked age appropriate when looking at it through today's lenses especially if noticing her face more clearly and around her eyes but for me she certainly did not look virtually 30 yrs old in s1 of BH90210 and I just didn't feel it necessary to question it. She still look young for her age at the time and I still hold that belief even now.
