BTW "3 moves remaining" means that the Dynamax pokemon only has 3 turns before it returns to normal for the rest of the Max Raid. This is something that also happened in the main series.

When you walk, you can earn particles. It looks like walking 2kms gives you 100 max particles. However, you can only earn 800 max particles per day. I was able to hit 900 from power spots. I was at 780 max particles. I collected 120 from the power spot, and it gave all that I collected. So you can go over the 800, but once you do, you won't be able to collect particles from walking or power spots. I think the limit is currently set too low. Collecting only 800 particles a day is going to limit how much you can interact with this new feature. That's a bad business decision. It feels like routes again or Harry Potter Wizards Unite again. If there are too many limits on being able to use the feature, many people will just skip it.

If it's anything like pokemon sword and shield, the max moves are based on the type of moves that pokemon knows e.g. that wooloo knows a normal type move and that wood change to 'max strike'. - fire = max flare - bug = max flutterby - electric = max lightning - fighting = max knuckle Etc

On the Pokemon Go News page there was an article talking about Dynamax. It said that starting the 8th Max Particle Bundles will be available for $7.99 for 4800 Max Particles. And there is that free research for the Dynamax wrist band. I am wondering if that is where the Max Particles are stored and then if it will show up as another storage container that you can buy expansions for. From what I have heard, you can "spin" harvest 800 max particles a day from Power spots. I'm hoping they show up soon so I can start collecting them. If this intel was coming only from Japan rather than both Japan and New Zealand I would guess they were doing a test run before the 10th when it goes live. I do not see any power spots near me and there are plenty of Poketops and gyms within range on the map.

@@rikuuusikartano3692 They showed up here in Wisconsin USA around 1230 CST. They were not visible until I accepted the research task. Then I had to close the game and reopen it before they appeared. Then after going to a spot and collecting some MP I was finally able to see them in the Route tab. Sadly it will take at least 4 days I am guessing to complete all 3. It was easy to complete the first task as it was just visitng a spot, collecting 500 MP and walking 5 km. You are only allowed to collect 800 mp per day so at 120 each stop y;ou are able to visit 6 or 7 stops a day. Part 2 is 1000 mp, and 10 spots and upgrade your pokemon. So no way to get the 1000 that I can see though there is a reward of 300 mp. I tried to collect it but I had 820 mp so it would not allow it. It would seem at the moment 1000 is the hard stop.

Guys I would recommend DO NOT collect MP from walking because the research tasks you’ll need to do to get the wristband requires you to spin 10 stops for MP and if you collect your max daily amount from walking you won’t be able to complete the research task making it that ur 1 day behind everyone else to actually start doing raids. It’s going to be the 2/3 set of tasks that requires this so it’s gana take about 2-3 days to complete in its entirety

I would highly recommend for everyone to NOT collect MP from walking doing the research tasks you need Max Particles from 10 power spots but you can only get a certain amount of MP per day so if you collect from walking you will claim the maximum amount and then you won’t be able to spin the spots necessary to complete the task making it 1 more day that you’ll have to wait before you finally get the wristband to actually start doing raids

Max battles don’t seem to have started yet. I am only on page 2 of 3 for the To the max special research but those wooloo encounters aren’t from max battles but from the special research themselves. I think they’ve released this to make it so we have time to get ready before the max battles start next on the 10th. I’ve caught one wooloo that is capable of being dynamaxed and I’ll probably only be able to finish the second page of research either tomorrow or maybe even later due to the maximum amount of max particles you can collect being 800 a day and for some reason my special research glitched and didn’t add the 300 I collected yesterday when I claimed it early today to the special research task so I can’t finish the one that needs you to collect 1000 or the one that says collect from 10 power spots.

Looks cool as hell but functionally useless feature because the max stuff has no effect at all on regular gym and raid battles. Also requiring too much group in person organization. They need to buff the candy generation from taking power spots for it to be popular.
