I have top counters for most things (not all lv 50 though, but high levels and signature moves). The minute I see them enrage, I just leave. I wasted so many passes trying to get a shadow sneasel...

@@lazarus9004 trainer lével it’s not really important, but having level 40-50 counters it’s the ideal, I can farm shadow Glygar with my level 50 shadow mamoswine, 4 level 40 normal mamoswine and my level 50 Kyogre, the mamos with snow powder and Avalanche, and the primal kyogre with surf and blizzard, against shadow sneasel go full fighting type, Pokémon like mega lucario and in general level 40-50 fighting type Pokémon with fighting type moves and you should be able to beat it no problem. Yeah enrage it’s a pain in the but but you can do it

Tbh, the 'all the best mons are the legends' thing is why I keep bouncing off PoGo every few months. No one really plays in my area, it rains most of the year anyway so trying to play the game can really suck, and I just can't power through the raids for the 'best' by myself. Just once, I'd love for the best to be something attainable for everyone. Make it a starter or even a pseudo that just wild spawns more often than twice a year. Idk, i get im being negative, but to hear that the meta got flipped on its head by making different legendaries or super rare pokemon the best just discourages me from playing. Why bother when I can't shiny hunt, or fill out the dex, or battle? What's even left?

The meta shake up was just because of pvp. They don't care about whats good in raids or rocket battles.

When meta changes happen for pvp, it only extends to pvp. Thats why you see a “Gyms and Raids” tab and a seperate “Trainer Battles” tab on their moves. Some moves differ in damage from gyms and raids to trainer battles. What they did to raids (which was a unbelievably stupid thing to do) was round every move cooldown in raids to a half of a second, so a fast move with a 2.6 second colldown would go to 2.5 and one with a 2.3 cooldown would go to 2.5. Clearly, this changed the meta in ways that short-sighted Niantic did not mean to cause, especially Mega Lucario being nerfed just a few weeks after its raid day.

The new season is honestly really exciting so far. Just based on what we already know about power spots, it seems to be a nice incentive to get players out regularly because they are not fixed POI. Plus, only needing 4 players for dynamax raids should be much easier for smaller communities to manage. Coordination could be a concern (making sure everyone knows where a POI is) but hopefully they'll build that into Campfire? I also like that we can leave pokemon at the power spots to help others and improve our own. The "free" particles per day just from 2km is reasonable (even auto-walkers can get that done in a reasonable amount of time I would presume, or by drifting for those whose GPS signal glitches). I am also happy about the paid research, it's more coins for less than how much the price gets you on only a coin bundle in the shop, plus the gift perks (great for me while I'm still grinding Scatterbug candy, I will be more than prepared when those shinies drop eventually) and the other rewards. It's especially helpful given the new batch of Gen 8 dropping, plus the Dynamax ones, to be able to expand bag space a couple of times during this month. The meta shakeup from a pvp perspective isn't super relevant for me, I only participate in that when it's required for research, but hopefully it's a positive change and brings some excitement. My main game objectives are currently pokedex (when I have the opportunity to get something new), shinies, research, some badges, and overall XP/level progression. I learned the hard way last fall (with the big timed research storyline) that raiding isn't as practical for my current lifestyle as it was several years ago. It's something I mostly do when it's convenient, and that's less often than my other objectives are convenient. Perhaps, dynamax battles will be easier to plan for, but we'll see - it will depend on how much advance warning there is on raid timers.

This year Holiday Event or Christmas and New Year event, it will be ice type Generation 8 Pokemon going to debut in Pokemon Go. There are Snom and Frosmoth also Arctozolt, Dracovish and Arctovish finally Eiscue. Oh no! Eiscue is the Antarctica regional exclusive Pokemon, nobody travels to Antarctica to catch Eiscue. you can get the 20 coin daily task, even if you have 3 regular pokestop tasks, either ongoing or waiting to be claimed. it just replaces that green daily research bonus task. it also appears if you have three regular tasks and a pokestop scan task. so basically only thing that could disturb and prevent that 20 coin task from appearing, is if you have three tasks and daily bonus or old 20 coin task still there as the day rolls over.

you kept showing the pokemon sorted by the total score, however for raids you should rather look at them sorted by dps that way you could see that mega lucario does in fact deal more damage than keldeo it just tanks a lot less which puts its total score lower

Terrakion is much better for fighting in the Gym. Its so fast against the normal types and dont need it to heal much after the fights(i have a hundo lvl50). Not so with mega Lucario. Its always to revive and heal against the same Pokemons.

I have samsung s22 ultra, its a bit old at this point, still runs the game at max fps etc. However the battery drain is kind of insane if i let it run at native fps (120).
