Hi Karel, this was really helpful. Thanks again for uploading. Something I've been struggling with is the use of the SumOver function when making Calculated Fields. There are a lot of options PRE_FILTER, PRE_AGG & POST_AGG_FILTER and I was wondering if you can show examples of the different ways to use it.

Hi Karel, I created Date Granularity using calculated field(ifelse( ${FullDateGranularity}='Day',truncDate("DD",{survey_date}), ${FullDateGranularity}='Week',truncDate("WK",{survey_date}), ${FullDateGranularity}='Month',truncDate("MM",{survey_date}), ${FullDateGranularity}='Quarter',truncDate("Q",{survey_date}), truncDate("YYYY",{survey_date}) )). Pin the control to top, but when I select a monthly granularity within a certain timeframe (like from 4th of April to the end of the year) my pivot table shows me yearly granularity. Would you know what could be possibly an issue there? Thank you very much!

Hey Karel, the dynamic dates, I have followed but it still insists on a default and it seems to be using that rather then that of the external table...in your example your still had defaults in the same value as your table, so was yours working as expected also?

I want to pass datefield in parameter how can i do that Or can i make a string and inside that directly pass datefield there for example I am working here from {datefield} like this , Is it possible !!!!!!!!!!

Hi Karel, thanks for uploading the video. Is there was to add a calculated field for 'EOmonth'. If I need to show the data only for the last working day of the month.

Hi Bhaskar. Date calculated fields can be created in Quicksight. Though there are limitations on the way you can use it. For some use cases it may be a better idea to bring what you need from your dataset. If you describe in more depth your use case, we will be able to provide a better advice. Thanks!
