Hi Karel, I created Date Granularity using calculated field(ifelse( ${FullDateGranularity}='Day',truncDate("DD",{survey_date}), ${FullDateGranularity}='Week',truncDate("WK",{survey_date}), ${FullDateGranularity}='Month',truncDate("MM",{survey_date}), ${FullDateGranularity}='Quarter',truncDate("Q",{survey_date}), truncDate("YYYY",{survey_date}) )). Pin the control to top, but when I select a monthly granularity within a certain timeframe (like from 4th of April to the end of the year) my pivot table shows me yearly granularity. Would you know what could be possibly an issue there? Thank you very much!

sadly, the forward periods is manual set by how many days we need. it's not an date filter

What a great , clear, video but unfortunately my Readers can still see other people's data. I have 20 stores . Each should only be able to see graphs derived from their store's data. In the main csv I have col called UserName, in the filtering CSV I have col called UserName, and this UserName matches the the username of the of the reader I created in QS>Manage. In QS > Datasets , there is a lock icon next to the data. But when I log in as that UserName , my plot shows all of the stores data. Any idea what some of my mistakes might be?

Having used Quicksight for over a year now, I have to say that it is very, very difficult and complicated. It is very slow and the simplest thing requires hours of preparation. It is a very poor platform for analyzing the data. I recommend Zoho Analytics.

hi, great reasoning. I too had a question, I need to append 2 different data sources, first, sales data of tier 1 cities from SQL database & and sales data of tier 2,3 cities from Excel. Doing “add data” only gets me to join other datasets but I am unable to find a way to append data sources. Columns & data types are identical in both data sources.
