Uninstall it anyway. Nobody "needs" the youtube APP on their phone/tablet (unless your phone/tablet is what you're using to upload videos from (to youtube). Every browser for phones/tablets that I can think of work fine with youtube's website, so uninstalling the APP will save you some space.
