Yes you can use it. We are not using any specific MRP type here for dynamic safety stock. It works based on the coverage profile

Hi, thanks for uploading this detailed video. We are using S4 Hana but we are not using MRP live because it seems MRP live doesn’t consider coverage profile in MRP calculation. Could you please confirm? Many thanks in advance.

Hello..I don’t think there is a simplification item for coverage profile. It works fine in our S/4 system. I verified the same in simplification checklist and found none.

You’re welcome. Batch management deals with the assignment and creation of batches. Whereas batch derivation deals with the management of characteristic values of the batch. Please check both videos, you will get better understanding.
