I didnt even know this move had a name, i always watched em do it a lot in his earlier fights such as Conroy Nelson, Eddie Richardson, Robert Colay, that sparring session in black, it was usually after a right handee punch hed shift immediately in a split second and boom other guy sleep, he would do it as a counter while ducking sumtimes like he did in the Conroy Nelson fight, I always loved this move as a left dominant orthodox

Cus’s knowledge and Teddy’s coaching…wow!!!!!!!!! I still don’t believe that there’s a better fighting style than this. Although I will say that Canelo is the most disciplined and most technical fighter out there - he’s beautiful to watch and he’s one of a kind. Teddy, you’re one of a kind. Your passion for the sport and knowledge of it is on a genius level.

Thank you for the lesson! *if my opponent has a good guard and is not allowing my strikes to penetrate, i pivot to a side to provide a different angle and uppercut through the opening in their guard to be able to follow up with another strike*

Mike always came in close "squared Up" first then picked his side because he was a converted southpaw so it was easy. But most people will be trained to never get squared up in front of a guy while not being tied up. Its a skillset that is learned upon knowing when a guy is not gonna throw back so he would capitalize on it. Teddy should tell the truth here. Most guys can only remember to stay in there stance at all times. So when this happens they freeze and eat the punches .

Atlas was barely in Mike's life for any length of time before getting booted out and he's still trying to cash in as if he was the one who trained Mike, he got sacked after threatening to kill Mike
@Mark-ie2js2 ай бұрын
Actually, I went to the fight from 1986 and watched rounds 8-10 and didn’t see Mike doing that. He was struggling to hit Tillis and didn’t score any noteworthy hits against Tillis in those rounds. In fact, Tillis finished that fight strong. Mike got the decision.
