More whites are shot every year than blacks, its not surprising that in areas that are heavily populated with blacks, they’re shot more. Not saying either or is the case. This isn’t all black/white. And yes the irony is now lost on me.

I saw Dynamite Hack perform live at 101X Fest in Austin, TX back in 2000. Weezer also performed on that same stage the same day. Wheatus was originaly billed but they cancelled so Weezer was signed as a last-minute replacement. It was a hot day. Temps above 100 and zero shade anywhere. Cypress Hill were the headliners. Also present were: Human, Kottonmouth Kings, The Nixons, and Everlast.

Very true. Everyone just laughed at the irony. Everyone already understood the implications of racism of the time. They laughed at how ridiculous this song was applied, because it was genuinely funny. It's like if Weird Al learned better acoustic and harmony and applied it to something hardcore. The overwhelming message is more positive than you'd think. People just get so fucking affected by shit these days.

To anyone reading... If you read any interviews of them talking about this cover you'll see they were HUGE fans of NWA as a whole, Eazy-E, Ice Cube (he ACTUALLY wrote the song), and Dr. Dre's solo stuff. *According to interviews, Ice Cube and Dr. Dre have both heard this and like it.* Dynamite even took the pre-emptive legal care to make sure they got (and are still getting) paid royalties for it too! This is a tribute to Eazy/NWA done in the most non-offensive way possible.

Sang this at karaoke on a cruise and had a couple a few days later asked me if I sang it and I said yes. They told me they laugh about it everyday and it has been the highlight of the cruise. The DJ was pissed but the song was in her book so I'm not sure why she was mad. Loved that cruise

i think the reason people get mad at this song is there is a lot of respect for Easy E and some people think this song is making fun of him. Idk why though. It's clear to me they are making fun of themselves. My brothers love the original and hate this they literally said it's because this song is "disrespecting the original" lol

I laughed so hard the first time I heard this cover. It was just too soothing but the 180 difference between the faithfulness to the original lyrics by Eazy-E and these ultra-soft soft boys singing it in this ultra soft way had me in tears in my car, laughing so hard. XD

If you seriously hate this, you have no soul, or musical sense. Its tight, well produced, doesn't take itself too seriously, but takes the music very seriously, its just fun and sounds great. I guarantee the first time dre, or cube heard this, they probably were laughing sayin, what is this? If they were laughing, they aint mad. Dig?

I actually had this ridiculously amazing idea to end a set with a boys in the hood acoustic cover. People would lose their god damn shit if it was done really well. I was sad for a second that it of course had already been done but this isn't quite what I had in mind. Still props though I got a good laugh. Bravo.
