I bought these in October 2021 from DartsFieber in Germany, at the time no UK shops sold them but typically some weeks later Darts Corner stocked them. Not sure they have any now but I really only bought them for two reasons, they looked good and I was intrigued by the grip lol Its a very long dart though and quite light at 20.5g but nicely made, hope you enjoy the review and if so leave a like and a comment and if you are not subscribed yet then please sub too! Thanks Vic I think they were a nice challenge and I got more used to them. Seemed to work better with my grip just front of centre but still a bit long to feel properly comfortable with 👍😊

The name of the shop you bought them at translates to "dart-fever" in English

The shop is spoken "dartfeebre", and translates to "dart fever". The Leonard Gates are in my arsenal for roughly a year, the grip is good, but the length tends to create quite wobbly "airtime" if you´re not having a steady and calm throw, at least that are my impressions. Great training dart for this imho. I play them with an AK5 in L size, so I literally have three not so tiny spears .... ;) JK, super nice darts, but nothing I´d recommend for a beginner.

I thought it may be Dart Fever but was also thinking it could be like fibre we eat lol thought no cant be that surely, would be a bit painful passing out darts LOOOL! After I played with the for longer I got them flying quite well moving my grip just front of centre but overall not a dart for me :) LOL they have an apt name then! :)

@@DartsReviewChannel Poopin´ out darts...yup, that´s just the image I needed tonight... ;=) I´d say you can get used to this dart, but it´ll take quite some time as you really have to adapt the throw movement for this dart. They tend to spin alot if one does not concentrate on the throwing hand (steady and calm). But I managed to get quite a few 180s with ´em, once you´re used to this special throwing movement, they´re turning out a good dart of the pencil type. As I said, not for beginners, not for people who prefer shorter barrels... Best named German dart store still is "Dartsturm" because it can be read in two ways; first, "Darts Turm" (Tower of darts), or the original way translating to "Dart storm". ;)

Over half the barrel drilled out, weight concentrated to the front may be easier to throw than one thinks. Great review. Cheers.

Enjoyed the review, perhaps the front loading explains why Leonard appears to just drop them in so very well. Maybe put in tungsten inserts to adjust the balance to suit mid/rear grippers ?

Darren; really nice review. Unfortunately for me there are two negatives for these darts, they are too long and too light. I normally throw 23-24 gram darts and I like them about 50-52nn in length. I agree they do look good though. Thanks and keep the reviews rolling.

If these were a gram and a half heavier I think i would be tempted to buy some . You seem to throw them with out much wobble , but don't like them overall , I am surprised ! Great video as per normal . Ta

The barrels are drilled out 30 millimeters. You could add some tungsten putty to increase the weight.

Thanks David 👍 Yeah it's a fun dart for a challenge to throw well and some were flying ok, I got a bit better with more practice and moving my grip up a little. Overall though I don't feel as comfortable with them as I do with a shorter dart 😊. You can make them heavier by adding unicorn tungsten inserts and tungsten putty.

Great review as always. Great looking darts as well but for me they're way too long and not much grip on the rear.

Another great review Dazza. Nice looking dart but may be a bit long for me. General question, always love the way you try the different grips and throw darts of all different shapes & sizes but how do you cope with the different weights? What's your preferred weight of darts Dazza?

Don’t think it’s a Dart for me Darren says has he chucks in a steady Ton😂 I think he is obviously using the wrong darts then. He is usually a treble 5 or 1 man.😂 Guess it must of been a shock to the System to actually throw some good darts with these. My guess is Darren would benefit more from a trip to Specsavers has he seems to dismiss darts that actually work for him🤷🏻‍♂️😂🤣😂

Can always fill with tungsten inserts and tungsten putty to make them heavier 🙂
