It’s good that Faux Krystle stepped aside so that tumbling Blake wouldn’t crash into her. It’s funny that here, Blake knows that she’s not Krystle. Yet in season 9, when the real Krystle has a tumor, Blake tells Mrs. Gunnerson that Krystle has been acting strange for years. Couldn’t Faux Krystle’s actions be part of that?

Blake lived with this faux Krystle and slept in the same bed and he realized she wasn’t the real one only because she didn’t help him in the stairs. Sammy Jo was so lucky to find a woman with the exact same size, weight voice and skin as her aunt who only needed a minor plastic surgery to look exactly like Krystle. Stupid plot but I quite enjoyed it. I just think they didn’t go far enough with it: they should have created this plot the season before, sent the double to Moldavia, have her killed there and let the real Krystle reappear a few weeks later. Or be extremely cynical and replace the boring Krystle by her double and she would have charmed Blake, who would have have found her funnier and less frigid than Krystle.

@@timtebowfan628 like the other person said most likely in real life Blake and Krystle would have pressed charges against Sammy Jo for fraud, aiding and abetting abduction plus aiding and abetting attempted murder. Whereas here Sammy Jo at the end of the day developed a conscience, spending her own money to bribe lab workers to do an emergency analysis on the bottle Rita dropped which contained the "heart medication" she and Joel were using to poison Blake, going to tell Steven her suspicions which enabled him to get to the mansion just as Blake collapsed and save him using CPR plus going to Delta Ro to rescue the real Krystle from the attic. Krystle told her that since her actions helped save their lives so they weren't pressing charges against her - provided she also testified against Rita & Joel when they are brought to trial. As of the end of the series that never happened due to a car crash where Joel and Rita were thrown from the car but their bodies were never recovered.

this could have been a great story line if the writers has not been so preoccupied with the colby's......they could have taken risks....blake comes home early and catches krystal kissing the doctor.....he has a flash back of catching alexis with her lover all so many years ago...he calls krystal a tramp n throws her out of the house...her n the doctor hatch a plan that she divorces blake and gets a huge settlement and child support...she attempts to leave with the baby...blake stops her n tells her she can go....but not with his child....the divorce gets nasty....the guy who kidnapps krystal leaves a newspaper artical behind that talks about the nasty divorce n custody case...this makes krystal determined to escape n get back to blake n her child....she escapes and makes her way to the court house right before the judge is about to render his decision.....everyone is in the court house as she bursts through the doors....everyone looks up shocked...or they could have had blake figure out that something is off with Krystal but no one will believe him that she is a fake.....blake figuers out where krystal is being held and then goes n rescues her kidnappers n sammy joe frame alexis for the kidnapping......The Road House scene shld have been omitted b/c it is utterly ridiculous that Krysle wld run into Dex n Alex n not signal for help or that she was in distress ot that Alexis wld encounter Krysle in some seedy pt of town with another man, Dex as her witness n not think it odd or mention it to blake?...N seriously wrote themselves into a corner b/c Sammy Joe has Krytle kidnapped, tormented n held in some dark hole with a creepy perv that clearly has the hots for her, not kwng if she was wld live or die or ever see her baby again......an ugly n unforgivable act......N Krystal escapes n all is forgiven NO fuc$*&n way....tough to swallow....Even if ya don't report her to the place.....U disown her,tell her ya want her out of Denver n ur life FOREVER!!!!

I loved this storyline but looking back on it now, this should have been wrapped up in 4 episodes or they should have killed Rita in Moldavia and had Krystle come back at Blake and Alexis's wedding at the end of Season 6. Thats the kind of stakes "Dynasty" needed to stay viable.

vistaprime I hated the Krystina heart transplant storyline but loved Alexis and Blake in Singapore. I thought Season 6 was campy as hell and felt you can see the dip in quality coming as the show had run out of ideas by now and was cannibalizing itself.
