It was first added as DLC for DW7, then become his official weapon in 8.

You get in game weapons given to you that match up to your characters level, but DLC weapons you never do and they're never in the story mode shops to buy more so I only ever had the weakest DLC weapons to use.

As awesome as this level is, it would have been better if Cao Cao had won the battle. A victory for Cao Cao would have ensured swift unification under Wei and spared China many more years of warfare.
