sadly in history it's even more lonely for Wu at this point; Lianshi is long dead and there is only Lu Xun's son left. When he dies, there is no more admirals left worth a damn.

actually, that is because everyone just remember these character in the novel ( while the novel almost stopped in 234 - When Zhuge Liang died). During the real Three Kingdom period, beside Ding Feng still have very many young/famous character: - Luxun ( died 245) - Gu Yong ( died 243) - Lü Ju ( died 256) - Zhu Ran ( died 249) - Zhūgě Kè ( died 253) - Lu Dai ( died 256) - Xu Sheng (died 255) - 陸凱 ( died 26X) - Quan Cong ( died 249) - Wang Fan ( 266) - Lou Xuan ( after 264) - Zhongli Mu ( after 264) - Lu Kang ( 274) ... So, actually, Ding Feng didn't lonely at all.

This is actually a very sad and depressing cutscene for me, Ding Feng is the last protector of Wu, Jin by this time had overwhelming numbers and superiority but he refuses to give up... truly an honourable soul.

Since Wu is my favourite Kingdom, I just thought at this scene: "Jeez, rip my heart out and stomp on it, why don't you?" Seriously, this whole battle just made me feel sad. Aside from Lianshi and Ding Feng, no one else of the Chars that I so adore is left. The soldiers in the Main Camp recalling their memories of them just made it worse. And lastly, the snowy battlefields atmosphere and the arrogant comments from Zhuge Ke just hammered the point in that the Tiger's Fangs have grown dull over the years. The Fire of Wu that burned Cao Cao's Fleet at Chibi is now almost extinguished and the Winter of the Wu-Kingdom has arrived. Not gonna lie, I cried at this cutscene.

Lat i always liked Shu since DW game whatever before Dw7 but, it was so sad when the game finally represents reality of The end of Wu where most of officers were passed already, only Ding Feng Lianshi remains, if it wasn't for played DW 7 i might be still think Dynasty warriors ending just as Dw6 and before it's,less painfull to watching it...

I know it’s been nine years since this was posted but for anyone still complaining about Lianshi being alive here and 8, Dynasty Warriors 9 she dies before Sun Quan. This makes this scene more depressing because as of now Ding Feng is the only playable character in Wu that’s still alive before Jin’s invasion of Wu.

LOL, the only reason they made Lian Shi still alive at this point was so that Ding Feng won't be forever alone.

Lianshi no longer outlives her own death in DW9. Atleast Ding Feng had more screentime and interactions with the Wu characters in that game before he becomes forever alone in the Jin story...

A terribly misunderstood character. Her was received poorly in Dynasty Warriors 7, almost terrible that I think Koei are really going to question his existence or persona in future titles. He's not a bad character as he's brilliant in this video, he's just overshadowed by lack or development in the story prior to this moment. People like the pretty boys too much that characters such as Ding Feng, Xu Huang and Wei Yan are unappreciated when in fact they have some of the deeper development.
