Real Life Cao Cao wasn't a bad guy, actually there's no bad guy at all Edit: Dong Zhuo is the only villain

Dong Zhuo was a great man once in Xiliang, until he witnessed how chaotic the palace, and how puny the controlled emperor was. Therefore, after the Ten Eunuchs' Rebellion, he grabbed the greatest power among the dynasty, restored the places for those exiled officials, even replaced the emperor with Liu Xie who acted tougher than his own brother during Ten Eunuchs' Rebellion. But the biggest problem is after Dong Zhuo replaced the new emperor he corrupted by his power, cause he realized that nobody likes a rude guy like him, even most of them are the exiled officials he restored. That's how Dong Zhuo became the villain among Han dynasty.

Better story sure, but the hypothetical path of Wei... Is just glorious. I love Cao Cao and his What If Ending. It symbolized hope and driving toward a stronger and better future for humanity. It was well done

That first cutscene is so powerful. In an age of chaos and everlasting dynasties, Cao Cao truly wanted to put an end to it all and bring peace and order to China. I truly believe he would have fulfilled his goal, had he not lost, at the battle of Chi Bi. I admit though, I love the drama between Shu and Wu during Fan Castle and Jin is just so awesome. DW for life.

I love that they didn't showcase Cao Cao as the villain in this game. He was the greatest man of the time, but thanks to the ROTK novel, everyone sees him as the butt of Liu Bei's benevolence. Gawd how I hate benevolence.

-Everyone has R1 musou and air musou -Everyone has their own EX weapon, no shared ones -New rage meter, basically Musou Rage from DW5, and while in rage mode your musou acts like in DW5 too -Free mode is back -Ambition Mode, basically DW7:XL's Legend Mode -New weapon system and return of 5th weapons -Weapon Affinity (basically rock, paper, scissors style mechanic which gives you either an advantage or disadvantage over officers) -Character abilities similar to Warriors Orochi

Ive been a DW fan since dw2 for the ps2 release. And out of all of them none sit higher than DW7/XL for me. 7 (nor any) was not meant to be 100% on par with Romance but its *miles* better than this convoluted mess of a story.

historical based on history, this game probably not completely accurate compared to the novel of three kingdoms but you get the gist of it. Hypothetical is a IF scenerio. e.g. what if you did this method instead or that etc hope that makes sense lol
