The Eil That much is understandable. Japan has been in the VA business for a while as a notable tradition, hence the "CV/Character Voice" stuff you see on their promos. While a Chinese dub would be plausible, I guess Koei is mainly reserving that for their Romance of the Three Kingdoms games.

I don't have DW7, so I wouldn't know. However, from my knowledge I conclude that DW7 is probably you choose an empire then play a series of the empire's generals, correct? This game has a very high chance that it is like DW7's story. I've loved the older DW's game's story so much and would hate the idea of DW7's kind of story mode.

Dian Wei dies protecting Cao Cao during a night attack by Zhen Ji's previous Husband's forces (forget his name). but yes he dies. but that has nothing to do with if he should appear again or not in a new Dynasty Warriors game, since this is based on Romance of the Three Kingdoms Book which is loosely based off of the historical records for its time. 8 is not a continuation of 7, just a new "Updated Version" of gameplay of the same story.

I'm not sure but I see some new weapons in some characters, like Gan Ning, Huang Gai, Da Qiao.. Well i think dinasty warriors 4 is the best and this saga needs something more than new characters. More decisions to take and maybe have the power to make your own strategy

You know what would be better? Have the game give you the option in Voices to switch between English subs or dubs, aka Japanese or English voices in the Options menu for the game. They should do that when US version comes out.

That is Zuo Ci, legendary Mystic/Taoist around the beginning of the DW story. He was in DW5 but hasn't reappeared since then. If he is anything like his DW5 appearance, he will be a very fun character to play with.

well in that case they probably just focused on his story before he join Wei, which led to the decision to put him down as a Shu officer since he severed as Shu's strategist before Zhuge. but i guess they made up for it by making his second outfit blue

you're right about dynasty warriors 7 story mode honestly i like the original story modes the one in dw7 its ok and it does take several hrs to complete i like how you can have a second weapon but you cant equip items like you could in the originals and you cant have body per-say if you go into conquest mode you can get guardian animals you can ride a bear which is crazy its kinda slow you can also unlock wolves and tigers which i think is cool

i'm still sad that zuo ci was the only character added to the others faction. great that he's back, but they could've added someone else into the mix, even if they didn't had a significant role into the story. I mean, look at meng huo and zhu rong. honestly, what impact did it make conquering the nanman territories if they did nothing afterwards? I say they should add characters that are at least known in legend like hua xiong or yan liang and wen chou. i'd like to see one of them at least...

I have always been a fan of Zhang Liao, although I much prefer Wei to any other kingdom the officers seem more real and refined to me. Shu is too goodie goodie for me and Wu just lacks in a lot of area's.
