Dynasty Warriors 8: XL CE - Wei Story Mode 14-IF - Battle of Baidi Castle (Ultimate)

This is the final stage in the Wei hypothetical storyline. It's a pretty solid stage and fairly different depending on who you play as. Even Guo Jia acknowledges how much there is to do at one point. Since I'm playing as Cao Cao, I take the bottom path which leads me to deal with the Nanman and Ma Chao's forces. The stage itself is designed really well, especially like the the dragon statues in the center. It's a fairly hard stage so it feels appropriate for a finale.
Playing as Cao Cao again for this one, as it felt appropriate. Since he specializes in Storm Rush he can deal a lot of damage if he gets it off, even on harder stages. Also I really like how he speaks to Liu Bei at the end, can tell from the emotion in his voice how he feels when speaking to Liu Bei.
Now that Wei is done, Wu is next.

Ah, this ending is certainly the best. Also, as an aside I will admit, the fact that the ahistorical endings for both Cao Cao and Liu Bei feature each other heavily is a fact that I like. It really adds something to the relation between them. It's a shame that Wu doesn't really have that level of connection.

Remember how, back in DW7, Xu Zhu wanted to plow rice fields with Dian Wei? But it wasn't possible for that to happen because Dian Wei died at Wan Castle. Because of that, I just have this silly grin when I see the two plowing the fields together at the beginning of the ending movie.

Man.. I really loved this ending, Cao Cao’s true goals of a kingdom ruled by government and not one man, to the scene of Dian Wei and Xu Zhu is heartwarming.. ; _ ; Especially Cao Cao’s final lines as he rides into the afterlife

There is one thing I did check for this stage in free play mode every character from wei has their own line of dialogue at the start of the stage which makes the stage more enjoyable and you can play it over and over again to hear what every character has to say.

There would be no need for a ruler to pursue his own ambitions. Cao Cao truly believed this to be the case. People shaped the era they lived in, and in turn, that era would shape future views on history. The hero known as Cao Cao used his strength to forge a new era of peace for the land. And now, it was the time for the land to enjoy the newfound tranquility that it had long desired...

Musous give you I-frames, so they can protect you from any attack. Basically I just keep fighting unless I run out of musou completely, then I know it's too dangerous and I should go look for health or come back with full musou.

You just level up your character(For great performance,you must upgrade defense bar to 1000 or more)at ambition mode For skills,Use skills "Recovery" or "Jubilation" to your weapon and use red hare as you collect. Red hare has skills "Recovery" too

Liu Bei retreated to Baidi Castle after losing the Battle of Yiling. After being stressed out and broken due to his failures, Liu Bei dies, anointing Liu Shan as his heir and he tells Zhuge Liang “to take care of his son” or kick him out from power if he screws up big time
