I guess it's a matter of taste. I, on the other hand, prefer English Subtitles a lot more than English Dubs. The Japanese voice-overs sound more fitting in my opinion.

Cookie Dynamics Try applying that logic to Rurouni Kenshin then where the main character who is a guy sounds like a chick. English dub for that anime shows that good English dubbing is possible and can be better then the original Japanese.

For me it depends on the franchise. For games like fire emblem i actually prefer english voices for the most part but some anime like JJBA will be very lacking if it was dubbed in any other language due to the humor in the japanese voices.
