I recommend it. I've been playing it almost nonstop. They long since patched it up and you can switch characters whilst still playing the same chapter.

Love how in DW8 the historical path is mostly due to a plan, such as the Chi Bi fire attack for Wei, that made a faction unable to unite China. With Wu though, it’s Zhang Liao

I know this comment is old af, but, dude, there’s a MASSIVE jump in graphical fidelity from 3 to 4. Not hard to see why the draw distance may have decreased. Like 4 really stepped things up, and even DW5 wasn’t anywhere near the jump from 3 to 4
