Dynasty Wars / Tenchi wo Kurau - Arcade (1989)

A unique beat em up that I've played before, but never really mastered. You have to balance when to charge and when to just hack and slash, but when you're surrounded by a couple dozen mooks...you're gonna get hit and it feels like there's no real evasive way around that. I do appreciate just how many enemies show up on the screen. It really makes the battlefield setting worth experiencing. I jsut wish there was a tiiiny but more in the way of ability. A jump, hold, super, ranged attack options...just one more thing would have worked.
