I started dynasty last year with an orphan and had a super old team with cooper Kupp and needed to rebuild. Ended up trading down Kupp for Garrett Wilson and a 23 first. That first ended up being the 1.03 and I drafted A Rich. Proof tier downs can skyrocket in price 😎

Is “teiring up” to Justin Jefferson with Garrett Wilson and Jahmyr Gibbs worth it? Yes I know it’s Justin Jefferson but is losing Gibbs worth the jump. This is a 12 team start 9 SF with .5 PPR. I also have Addison on my team so if I do this trade I’ll have 2 Vikings, meaning I will have some work to do.

In a Start 9 you don’t want to look to tier down, you want to tier *up, but I get how you want points off your team. And no, that trade isn’t crazy, but can you get rid of RB points instead?

If there aren’t firsts involved, then in most cases you’re not going to want to tier down from these top WRs. So you’d instead take a tier 3 or 4 player and tier down from there. Example could be trading DK for Hollywood + 2nd, or DJ Moore + a 2nd.

Two horse race between me and another guy for the 'ship this year. 12 tm, 1/2 ppr, start 9, SF. I'm stacked everywhere apart from draft picks in 23 and 24 and so is my opponent. Just looking to upgrade at WR. Have CD, DeVonta, Kirk, Godwin, Gabe Davis and Mooney. Would you advise going after a guy like Garrett Wilson and just try to get him at the cost of my depth or more towards a guy like Jerry Jeudy who has sm potential but does not have Wilson's production levels. I'm being a bit greedy but my team easily has the potential to compete for another 2-3 years (I got 2nd last year) because i have Hurts and Fields

Interesting takes, thanks guys. Shane I think is higher on Chris Olave than just about anyone I know. Only league where I own Olave I can't seem to move him because no one, including myself, is as high on Olave as Shane is. 14 team league. JSN owner would not even take Olave straight up for JSN. Long term I see Olave as a younger DJM. Very good WR that will be career long WR2, no WR1 upside. Wilson is a different story, I firmly believe that Wilson has WR1 upside.

I have a 1 qb start 7 switching to a SF start 9 in 2025. I traded St. Brown, 2.04 and 2024 2nd to the worst team he has Allen then Dotson is his next best player for, His 2024 1st, 1.10 and Allgier(I have 1.01). I'll still have Bijan, JT, ETN, Tyreek, Olave, London and Burks. I should he an easy playoff team but have 4 1st(3 likely early) to go for the qbs or Harrison jr.

I made a similar tier down trade recently, 10 team 1QB Start 8: AJ Brown and ‘24 2nd for Drake London and Rhamondre I like getting 4 years younger at WR, and am hopeful that Rhamondre will score similarly as AJB in 2023. According to Dynasty Daddy I’ve got the best starting lineup and 2nd overall in total value.
