The way 'The Portal' starts give me the feeling of walking towards an empty hall where you know you're bound to find yourself in a boss fight. Or, you know driving in the left lane, right foot pressed on the throttle to maximum. Cool stuff.

This time the emphasis is more on the atmosphere and a little lacking guitar, but I liked this gloom for me, Dynatron is one of the best performers in the synthwave genre. Liked it the most Close Encounter this is definitely a new sound and especially pleased with the fat guitar and in general the whole album is different from previous works. I also want to mention the great title track Origins, which I've been listening to for a month, it's definitely the most eye-catching track on the album. My assessment 8/10

First time listening to the album I felt that 'close encounters' and 'The machine' gave me the most feeling. I'm looking forward to listening to this album over and over though. I feel that there is alot of more in this track-list. I already sense the red thread going through it. I just need to follow it properly. Big fan of Dynatron! Think Dynatron is the absolute strongest name in the genre.

If he was the Perturbator of spacesynth he would have abandoned his synthwave style and would be doing some darkwave/industrial with awful vocals. I'm glad he keeps producing excellent spacesynth.
