The silk dome tweeters are very difficult to damage. The Metal dome B&W's are VERY easy to dent (and efectively kill)

A good McIntosh amplifier will make most speakers sound superb. And yes, the Evoke 50 / MA-7200 is a lovely cobination.

Yes, but it is at its limits. Consider the AS-3200 or a Michi X5 or McIntosh MA-7200

are those outriggers plastic? what a shame. I also wish they had more color options. These are almost as much as the B&W 702 Signatures. Dynaudio likely has a deeper soundstage but the matarials used look cheap...

Yes - Plastic, but onviously not "just" plastic. As for the B&W's - there are a few better speakers out there than the B&W's
