Thanks guys. Using the Cobb OTS 93 octane stage 1 tune I picked up half second. Previous best was 14.0 now 13.5 first pass. Ambient temp was 75F. 2021 Mustang Ecoboost A10.

I have a 2015 Premium M/T with 38k miles. Airaid closed CAI and BOV. I am considering a Cobb Tune Stage 1. Can anyone that has a Stage 1 tune on theirs share their feedback on the tune? Any issues with the tune after the fact? I'm hesitant due to all this ECOBOOM talk

+Just Some Dude Don't listen to anyone that tells you anything other than Yes it will void your warranty. My Ecoboost motor blew up a few months ago and so have several others. If you're not on the Mustang6G forum you should be. The incidents are becoming well documented. We've seen people with tunes and some bolt-ons blow up. We've seen bone stock engines blow up. Mine had a couple minor bolt-ons (CAI Throttle Body spacer) and then the JMS BoostMax and PedalMax modules. There are known issues with this engine and unless you can afford to pay at least $6500-8000 for a new motor don't do any modifications that you can't remove with no trace before taking it to the dealer. I took my car in with all my mods to have minor things fixed and they never said a word about my mods. As soon as the engine blew up though they instantly voided my warranty because I had mods. They never blamed the mods they just simply said engine modded, warranty voided. Unless you have the cash I beg you to educate yourself before you do anything that messes with the engine in anyway! The will document your mods when going in for an oil change and they will tell you things are no problem until they become a problem. The dealerships cannot afford to replace an engine without getting the go ahead from the manufacturer first. They have a flow chart they follow to determine if an issue is covered or if you voided your warranty. You've been warned! Ford is not your friend and is not looking to pay for bad engines when you give them an easy out with your mods.

+mcnamee30 They can detect that your car has been flashed. All these tuners will tell you that you can cycle the key X amounts of times and everything will be fine. Well guess what, when things are not fine the tuner is going to tell you that you knew the risks. They assume no responsibility, it's all on you.

Can you switch between an eco tune and performance tune pretty easily? I only put my foot down on the weekend but during the week I have a 3 hour commute and don't really need my mpg to go any lower than it already is

In my opinion Cobb is one of the easiest tunes/devices to switch- and can do so pretty much on the fly. You won't be disappointed. -Justin

So I got the Accesport V3 stage 1 tune yesterday and installed and got the -1 which means it installed and running well. However I dont really feel any difference, i do have an automatic and drive with paddle shifters occasionally. could it be meesed uo or am inly gonna feel gains at higher rpms, sport plus mode or do something else? cuz i really dont feel an advantage like people say it feels like a different car. thanks

Correct - stock Ecoboost Mustangs will gain more horsepower from tuning compared to a stock GT Mustang being tuned. A V8 has a much higher potential for horsepower when you throw other mods like exhaust and forced induction into the mix though. -Zach

Jo Lutz Check our the Ford Performance intake and tune. Get it installed by dealer and you don’t avoid warranty.

Cobb forsure, but when you need to take it to the dealership for check up, make sure you uninstall the tune back to stock so it doesn’t void your warranty
