What trans is that? Is the w58 on these capable of holding the 500+ wtq? If so I might be buying a soarer instead of the Supra.

Soarers come with a R154 unlike the SC that came with a w58. I don’t think the w58 can handle 500 torque as they start to have issues above 450hp but I don’t have experience with them. A new r154 should be able to handle around 700hp or like 600torque

So did they adjust the cams of leave it at 0?
@CBrigsMedia2 жыл бұрын
Left the cam gears at zero and adjusted the timing that they needed to in the ecu.

Wanna sell ecu?
@CBrigsMedia3 жыл бұрын
Sorry keeping it for jdm nostalgia.

You would be selling for a good cause lol giving my sc300 1jz some jdm nostalgia 🤤 but I understand keep up the good work!

@@DriftingLifeSideways i do suggest going standalone if you can afford it. You will make more power and be able to have better failsafes to protect your engine. But I understand when it isn’t in the budget.

@@CBrigsMedia iv thought about getting ecu master but I drift my sc and trying to keep my 1jz stock for reliability reasons maybe if the twins go I do stand alone but I'm always paranoid about shit tuners and I trust toyotas engineers with tuning 1jz more

@@DriftingLifeSideways yeah I haven’t heard anything good about ecu masters for jzs. Yeah if you are just running stock ecu and stock jz i would just suggest a boost controller. I suggest the innovate motorsports boost controller/wideband gauge. But with stock ecu I don’t think you will be able to go above 14 psi without boost cut. Probably for the best for those ceramic twins… don’t want them to eat themselves.
