Great job. That is how it’s done to see exactly what the mods are doing. Would have loved to see the fuel tuner along with the intake and exhaust but still “well done”
@teknique82924 ай бұрын
3:50 they say stock is 8.7 then at 7:29 with intake and exhaust is 9.6 so he gained .9hp. Nice!🎉🎉🎉

i notice with the yoshie they curl the pipe midway to maintain that backpressure and its titanium so if you had that you wouldnt have lost that power in the low end with intake mod. I plan on getting airbox mod.
@eastcoastish2 жыл бұрын
On the low mount Yoshimura they curl it since it’s so short, on my high mount Yoshimura it’s straight just like the Tyga since it’s a longer run.

Nice ,I guessing the numbers would go up as you put miles down, ecu learning
@bakotako2 жыл бұрын
First, thanks for putting them on the dyno. I just installed my TST Worx Airbox cover and reset the ECU and it does feel really peppy especially in 2-4 gears. 5th still struggles due to power. But, when you are running the changes on the dyno are u resetting the ECU each time or just stock ECU? Thx mate
@mr.somebody14932 жыл бұрын
I changed my front sprocket from a 15 tooth to a 14 tooth and it really made 5th gear more usable.
@bakotako2 жыл бұрын
@@mr.somebody1493 Ya that was what i was thinking too after getting a performance exhaust on it.
@eastcoastish2 жыл бұрын
No ECU reset between runs, but without putting some miles on the bike after each mod after each ECU reset, it wouldn't've changed the results much anyway. If you're running an intake and exhaust, you should be running some type of tune (ECU flash or stand alone tuner), this was just a quick demo to have some baseline information once I start really cracking into this build 😁
@bakotako2 жыл бұрын
@@eastcoastish ty mate, i will go with the tyga with my stock fish tail for now. i am planning on buying the tune ecu from DHM for the TST airbox and Tyga exhaust. =)

Would love to see this after a tune to see what the difference is. Just finished my intake and cam install and waiting for my ECU to come back from DHM (2022 Monkey). Do you know of anything that can be mounted on the left side of the bike in the two bolt holes the stock Monkey airbox uses? I'm thinking of trying a Gcraft rack with some sort of extension.

Are you still using the same air box/tyga setup today? Are you still liking it as much as day 1? Thanks for the great content.

So i noticed on the Dyno A/F ratio was sitting just below 15. in your previous videos you suggested 13.5. has anything changed or is that just the factory mix.
@eastcoastish2 жыл бұрын
The dyno wasn't monitoring my AFR on these runs (the line is just at 14.7 which is Stoich), I'm probably running pretty lean on these though. I don't have the aRacer setup on this bike but will get one once I start doing some bigger mods. If you're running an intake and exhaust like this, you should at least get an ECU flash from CJR or DHM.
@PharaohKoup2 жыл бұрын
@@eastcoastish i followed your lead and got the aracer and af sensor. I been running auto tune mostly. I have not been able to get a solid enough run yet to cover the full rpm range.

@@eastcoastish i have done my mods exactly like you. (apart from color scheme) I did not do the big bore kit because you didnt seem thrilled with the money to gain ratio. I am waiting on the DHM or steady garage to put one out that might be a little bigger

Have you ever ran a test to compare the tyga high mount to a yoshimura exhaust set up ?
@bakotako2 жыл бұрын
also, this may be a dumb question but i think others might be interested too. which full system performance exhaust would u recommend, yoshi or tyga? the reason i ask is one is $422 and the other $650. and also any other performance exhaust? thx mate again
@eastcoastish2 жыл бұрын
I'll eventually put my Yoshi dual titanium up against the Tyga high mount (probably on my Repsol-themed '22 since it's making more power) - my guess is they're making about the same power though. The Tyga is a really nice setup. If you noticed in the video, it also fits with the Impaktek 12 bar, plus the high mount let's you get rid of the stock rear sets since you're not relying on that mounting point.
@roberthelvick49392 жыл бұрын
Have you ever put it back on the dyno with the intake, tyga exhaust and the dhm cam ?
@Grainsauce2 жыл бұрын
When adding the intake and exhaust, was this with stock tune, if so I wonder what a reflash would do.
@eastcoastish2 жыл бұрын
Yeh stock tune and also no ECU reset or any time for the stock ECU to learn the new airflow. My guess is a reflash probably would have picked up another 0.25-0.5 or so HP.
