Screw Harley's warranties policy. Do some research, the "Factory Tune" at the dealerships are crap! They HAVE TO TUNE to meet EPA requirements, been there done that. Don't waste your money...aftermarket tune is the only way to go!

Bike is looking good and that pipe does have a fantastic sound. Almost sounds like a 2-2 instead of a 2-1. I looked up the pipe but they only make them for m8's so me and my 2007 Night Train twin cam will have to settle for my V&H big Radius pipes. Have a great week y'all 🤘🤘

Yeah it sounds good. I have the SPC Big Bore 4.5 on my Fat Bob. I have also put a Zippers Red Shift 468 cam into it and topped it all off with a Thunder Max Tuner and the K&N High Flow Intake.Thats where you'll get the power and the sound you're looking for. It's the cam that gives you the potato potato potato sound we all love and want. You could be standing in front of 50 Harley's and the minute you hear the bike with the performance cam in it start up, everybody's looking at it. It's unmistakable. I promise you that we're talking about serious performance !

After I wasted $350 on that friggin screamin chicken tuner, I said "F" the powertrain warranty and went dynojet Power Vision 4 from Fuel Moto. I have 4 months left on the warranty and when that is up, time for a cam.

Where's the view of the Dyno Sheets for your 2022 FXLRST? Ideally, one before Tuning, and one after all Tuning complete. Although I don't use the HD SE Tuners (I use Dynojet PV3b on my 2021 RGS), I do know some people who do go the HD SE Tuner route, for warranty purposes, etc. I'm confident that a lot of folks would like to the results of the Dyno Tuning session(s). And not just peak numbers (torque & horsepower), but how the curves look on the sheet...specially the torque curve. Did that big bore 2-1 short pipe perform well (specially in the midrange)? Did it give up much torque in the low rpm range? Curious minds wanna know. Thanks! And, can we anticipate to see how the 2022 RG-ST performed with the exhaust pipe and tuning?

We are going to do that next - I hadn’t run the pipe yet so I’m going to ride it a bit and break it in before we do those pulls. Definitely going to show that, and same for the road glide too😁

Had my ST dyno tuned with tbr turnout on screaming eagle tuner twice and it back fires every time I shift over 3000 rpm.. after a half hour it runs perfect.. so now I'm actively getting it ruined with power vision.. harley said it was my exaust and limitations on screaming eagle tuner.. who knows.. yours sounds great with no issues.

My Yamaha FZ-07 has way more power and response when it's 37-F out .. My Buell stumbles and cuts out when it's really cold .. The fuel tables for the Buell are not set up for cold weather. I put duct tape over my oil cooler scoop and the rear cylinder air scoops for the winter. Also I run 87 octane gas when it's cold out.

Sounds like it was burning so much oil that you fouled a plug out. My 2008 Buell Ulyesses with an air cooled 1203 CC Thunderstorm engine based on the Evo or Sportster engine .. Has; Piston oilers.. An air cooler with an air scoop.. Air Scoops to direct air to the rear cylinders.. and an electric fan that draws air acrost the heads that kicks in at 400-F There are ways to make HD's reliable , but the Motor CO just doesn't want to incorporate them. Looks to me like some Models now have liquid cooled heads..

I know you ride on the back of the road glide once in a while. I was wondering how loud it is for the passenger? I had a road glide with a beefed up 110 twin cam that was pretty lout with V&H high outputs on it. I like the sound of the SP Concepts exhaust, I just don't want to blow the wife away on road trips. Porosity in the Heads???? Was it burning a lot of Oil? My Yamaha FZ-07 uses NO Oil in 5,000 miles then I change the oil anyway .

i just left a comment on Her2wheels channel of the time in winter i wanted to ride so bad i rode my dirtbike with several inches of snow and ice on the roads. not far but i still did it. sooo ,,,Trailer Queen Trailer Queen!!! 🤣🤣 i was in my early teens so i dont blame you lol. you know if you move farther south your bikes will start easier...just saying...😁. lol. the bikes do sound really good. with the 117 i would say all you would need now is a cam if you wanted to go down that route. being a new bike i would wait a bit to make sure no issues come up myself. though you maybe able to do a cam now and still keep the warranty. i have never bought any vehicle new , with a warranty and i doubt i ever do so i dont worry about warranties lol. good vid. keep warm

Another great clip! Love the improvement in the sound and in the performance. My pref is the 2-into-1 exhaust as well. I was wondering how loud those pipes are while just cruising at freeway speed. I'd like to go that route on my '22 FXRST but don't want to go over the top on sound, as I'd still be able to hear the stereo when I want. I have the Bassani Road Rage 2-into-1 on my '16 Night Rod and that's pretty loud (I’d never be able to hear a stereo on that bike now). I really do like the looks of the Big Bore Exhaust on the bikes! Thanks again for sharing the clip and info!!

I run a HD 128 big bore with both the Pro Street and Auto tuner. Runs great and really impressed with the auto tuner for all types of weather and altitude riding. Spend the extra money to have it dyno tuned. It's worth it. I could get a bit more power with other aftermarket turners but not racing so this setup has more than enough power for a year riding conditions. If I had to do it again, I would get a 114 and put in a Stage 2 torque cam from Harley, the turners, dyno and be happy. Big bores are really fun but have cons as well with heat and sometimes too much power.

Supposedly if a dealership is caught passing a bike with what is considered a illegal exhaust, they could lose their inspection license and be fined. Seems to be a lot of grey area in the law. Who knows. Hochul is making this a very undesirable place to live.

Love what you're doing. I have the same bike but with the SE 2-1 pipe with the wideband O2 sensors and the SE Smart Tune Pro module and the Stage 1 digital download. Will eventually move to the Power Vision tuner which the Smart Tune Pro works with it as well. Cheers.

So, two Harley dealers told me a 2-1 voids your power train warranty. Also even dyno tuning a 2-1 with SE won’t net you full results compared to PV. So, why would anyone waste money on SE?

Here in West Texas years ago it was 40 degrees when I rode to work. When I got out it was -2 with wind chill of -17. Only had 4 miles to go home and I’ll tell you what, I’ll NEVER do that again. Worst pain of my life thawing out my fingers and I’ve bilaterally fractured my spine and that wasn’t even close. I’d rate it 0 stars and do not recommend. 😂 the bike sounds awesome!!!

Did they run the bike with the stock tune on the Dyno first to see your Power Torque and fuel ratios? You can't prove that you made any improvements if you don't make a base line dyno run .

So what is the actual deal; does a 2-1 exhaust tuned with the SE tuner void your power train warranty or does everything stay intact so long as you use a SE tuner?

The SE tune I believe keeps your warranty. I know some new stuff got passed but I'm not up on it too much to know the fine print on what voids/doesnt void the warranty - def. ask your dealer!

Unless your exhaust includes a catalytic converter, your warranty will be voided. The EPA takes a dim view on the removal of catalytic converters on emission controlled vehicles.
