Just installed turbo on my xrc and I am using the Dyno jet for my tunes. Very good tool to have for faults and in order to read data for a custom tune if needed.

Just as a question, why did you invest this money in a mav Sport if you can get an x3? I own a sport non dps and I wanna know if it’s good to invest that kind of buck in mine
@OdysseyOffroad3 жыл бұрын
I had an x3 and I wasn't really a fan I hated the visibility. Anything is worth investing in if it's something you like it's relative to the person.

Thanks for the video, I asked the manufacturer to send me the tune 802 for maverick sport and not trail. but they tell me they don't have a hmf to do the programming. it's not a very good answer.

Hey bud. Good video. Great information. 1 question if you could answer. I have a 2020 can am maverick trail 800 . Wondering the best performance tuner or if this one would be good in your opinion for my machine. Not really sure and can’t find much info on mine. Thanks man!!!

at hmf, each time they send me the trail running one, telling me it's the sport one. the code termination is not 25008 ... so it's trail running. helpppppp

If I buy a used one and the people didn’t set their machine back to stock is the tuner useless? I’m asking because I had a tuner for my truck and once you married it to the truck, it was useless on any other vehicle until unmarried. I’m worried about buying a used one in case it’s the same
@OdysseyOffroad Жыл бұрын
Definitely do not buy a used one it needs to be matched to the VIN the only way to use it on multiple vehicles is to buy a license and unless you're the original owner of it you can't buy the license.
@davecothran4 жыл бұрын
from the dynojet site, 101 is the tune for stock everything, 102 for HMF exhaust - do you have that or are you full stock?
@OdysseyOffroad4 жыл бұрын
I have stock exhaust.

Quick question what breaks did you buy for your can am sport max ? I can't seem to find the right ones My car only has 124 miles and I hear squeaking in the front everytime I break ...can you send me the link to a website or place ? Pls thank you !
@OdysseyOffroad3 жыл бұрын
I never replaced the brakes in the 2500 miles i had it. Squeaking is not a problem all canams do it. It is annoying but there is nothing wrong with them.

Do you know what parameters it changes ? Max rpm ? Speed limiting ? I’m debating getting one for my 1000r with 30” tires on it.
@OdysseyOffroad4 жыл бұрын
Hey thanks for checking out the video. I know it changes all of those, but what the exact parameters are I couldn't tell you. They should list that on their website If not you can reach out to them they're very helpful great customer service. I mean I can't tell you as I've said in the video is the performance with the tune that I have installed is absolutely night and day.

Did you ever have a problem by not doing the clutch? I just got a 21 mav sport max and thinking of going with 32” tires and dynojet but concerned about the clutching.
@OdysseyOffroad3 жыл бұрын
Zero problems I replaced the belt at 2,000 mi and it still looked good. I sold it with about 2500 miles on it. Ran flawless. The key to belt life and clutch longevity is using low gear when appropriate. Especially with the 32s on there if I was just slow crawling trails under 20mphbI would keep it in low.
