I bought a zx10r with a quickshifter already installed. Then I converted it into GP-shifting and nothing worked. But thanks to you, I now know that I have to shift the blue/green cables to the red/yellow. Thanks lot, Hayley! Best Regards Magnus, Sweden

No, I did not have the ignition module and it worked just fine.

i’m very late to the video but i just went to adjust my shifter position, couldn’t move it so retightened everything and now the quickshifter is super aggressive and misses 4th when it cuts power and then just revs the bike…

@@casey5532 lots of things could be causing that. I suggest bringing it to a race shop. All angles should be 90deg, sensor needs to not be under any stress, could have damaged the sensor or the cable or the connector.

I have one question when you install a Dyno quick shifter the steel thing you buy a separate?

Yes, I bought the rod separate. Dynojet sells rods for specific oem applications, but I have aftermarket rearsets so I had to custom make a solution!

It should be very similar. I don't have a gen 3 so not sure but it's roughly equivalent on all bikes

In this video I'm using just all thread that fit my specific (non OEM) rearsets. i've since switched to "ROD A" from dynojet.
