I think a big chunk of this pie is being told you’re lazy all your life. And just seeing how others seem to manage things you cannot manage easily. I question myself often if I’m just really stupid, and I’m lying to the whole world because people think I’m intelligent and competent but I’m not. Trauma like what many people with dyslexia experience causes depression in anyone; dyslexic or not. I don’t really think it’s a symptom of dyslexia directly, rather it’s a byproduct of being called stupid and lazy your entire childhood. I kinda sniff a bit of snake oil here, because there are loads of snake oil “cures” for mental health problems that prey on the vulnerable.

Is he talking about dyspraxia, when he means dyslexia ? I have dyspraxia, ADHD and ASD traits .
