Let’s unbox and try out the Dyson Ball Animal 3 Extra, which is replacing my Costco Dyson Animal Ball 2 Origin (which had a brush that kept stopping on my carpet).
The Dyson Ball Animal 3 Extra was on sale for $399.99 and also included a free choice of extra accessories if purchased through Dyson.com (I chose the Floor-to-Ceiling Kit).
A few days later, the normal (non-“Extra”) Dyson Ball Animal 3 went on sale for $299.99. I don’t really use accessories often, so I contacted chat support on Dyson.com and asked them what the best course of action would be, as it was still within the return period.
Dyson awesomely did a price-match AND said I could keep all the stuff! Amazing!
Here's my initial impressions of the Costco Ball Animal 2 Origin, which I returned because the brush would stop spinning constantly on my carpet.

Thank you for making this video. I am a first time Dyson buyer who is currently awaiting shipment of my Dyson Animal 3. I will say that one thing I wish I had known before placing my order, is that Dyson is currently offering a 20% off discount for any existing customers. So, had I known that, I might have ordered something else first, like perhaps replacement filters, or a hairdryer or something, and THEN ordered my $399 vacuum, and gotten the 20% off on the bigger ticket item. P.S. Your dirt is adorable! 😂 We would pick that up from one area rug!

Coincidentally, I happen to land on the Shipping Segment of this video. GLS is another 3rd party shipping company trying to eat into the market share of the UPS and FedEX where costs and wages are substantially higher than for the newer and smaller companies who don't pay higher living wages, medical insurance, pensions, and holiday pay for their robots...erh workers. Ship Brown and support those that purchase houses and the entire ecosystem that supports the building of houses, including yearly taxes that support schools, police, infrastructure development, etc.

@@DJNoMaskAh, I should look into that. Haven't heard of that one! I got a Roomba now each for upstairs and downstairs, and those definitely cut down on how often I need to pull out my big vacuum. :)
