would love to see a performance test on this machine what a beast! such a cool vacuum makes me want to convert something like a CY23 to have a power take off socket or DC54

Looks like a great vacuum! Would definitely love to see a performance test and how it does on the thick pile carpet vs the low pile.

I got a DC23 Motorhead for the first time a few weeks ago and was extremely impressed with the carpet performance as it felt more like a DC17. It definitely seems like a durable vacuum. It does have some drawbacks though probably due to the dated design. Like a really short cord and not being able to take the handle or hose off. I'm wondering if the 21 would be less bulky than the 23.

It’s amazing isn’t it! Definitely the best performing Dyson cylinder ever. The DC21 is still quite bulky unfortunately, but since it’s such an amazing performer I don’t mind it at all

Does the DC08 flatout head fit the DC19 as it has the similar fitting as the DC19 with the metal pole?

I heard in the video that you made about the DC 17 that you wanted to convert it to 240 V in this video you said the powerhead motor was the same as the DC 17 could you use the DC 21 powerhead motor in the DC 17 or is it different?

It’s so close, the DC21 has a different cog on the end of the motor to drive the brush so it wouldn’t be able to drive the brushroll on the DC17 🥺

@@parwaz7861 maybe you could change the cogs assemblies over or change the whole armature over
