Hi Lovelies,
Here is a video where I compare my Dyson supersonic hairdryer with the new wide-tooth comb to the Revlon Pro Collection Salon One-Step Hair Dryer & Styler. Bear in mind that I have very fine 4c hair strands so my results will never be like someone with thick 4c hair. I also do not use heat on my hair normally nor regularly and I have been natural for well over 2 years now. Hope you like cos I know I loved making this video for you.

For everybody debating about purchasing the dyson: in Germany they gift the comb attachement specifically to people with curly/kinky hair when they purchase a hair dryer because we usually don’t use the attachments that originally come with the dyson. So you should definitely ask in your country I bought mine at a dyson store btw

@@bettinajames5568 ich würde denen mal eine mail schicken und nachfragen. ich hab den damals im Store gekauft und das war überhaupt kein Problem. das war da auch keine begrenzte Aktion gewesen. wahrscheinlich ist es bei einer onlinebestellung einfach schwer nach dem Namen den Haartyp einzuschätzen

Not really, should have been done from the start. Seems like we were an afterthought. A means to increase revenue.

I agree. The comb attachment shouldn't be an extra cost. I just ordered mine yesterday and it comes with 3 attachments - all except the comb smh. I think they should give the customer an option of which attachments they would like to be included with the dryer since they're sending 3. I sent customer service an e-mail about exchanging the diffuser attachment for the comb. Hopefully they don't give me a hard time

Update: They don't do exchanges. But I ended up returning it earlier this week anyway and plan on getting the Revair instead. The dyson cut down on my drying time for sure but the results were kinda ehh lol. My hair looked dry and I was shedding so much from using the comb attachment. Ppl on YT claim that the Revair cuts down on heat damage & brrakage so I'll give that a try. It's also $100 cheaper than the dyson right now 😊

I’ve had the revlon dryer for a few years. It works but lots of shedding. We just bought the Dyson today and waiting on the comb attachment. Can’t wait to use it. Thanks for the video!

I’ve since used the dyson dryer with the Afro comb attachment twice and I LOVE it!!! I use the second heat setting and add a cool shot periodically. If you don’t mind the investment, go for dyson. The revlon dryer works too. It really is just preference.

I have the Revlon brush. I like it. It gets the job done...however, I think that it can be damaging to the hair. I use it every few months if I happen to want to straighten it out to do a length check. It does get hot to touch so I take breaks in between. I paid $34.99 at Walmart. I don't make many passes either. I love that it stretches my hair though. I would like to try the Dyson but it's too rich for my blood. In glad you posted a video....hope to see more content from you!

Yvette Williams i agree with you about the revlon it gets the job done at a slight risk. I dont see myself using it for my own hair but maybe for my wigs and stuff my natural hair prefers cold air always and i cant figure out why yet. The dyson is too rich for most of us and the comb attachment costs extra which isnt fair because we are an afterthought paying extra yet again :(

@@jallowlovette it has a cool setting on it. That should be the first setting by off. You suppose to part small sections, start from the bottom on high heat and work your way up. After maybe three slow passes, put it on cool setting. I use it every 3-6 months to check the length of my hair, to dust my ends and/or to blow it out so I can do a slick ponytail or bun. Thanks for responding and hope to see more content from you. I would love to see your favorite under eye setting powders (drugstore and high end).

Then mine is broken because i put on the “cool” setting and it was still blowing hot air after sixty seconds on. A shame 😭 and yes i will write down your request and put together some of my favourite powders. 😍

I just purchased the supersonic. It is amazing. Made light work of blowing my hair out. I used it on the lowest setting. Unbelievable..i didn't use the cold setting. But i was impressed

Without the box?!? Gurl where? Vos the box is a must with all the extra tillbehör and warranties 👀 please call them to chevk because I dont think thats right and that might be a scam or a safety issue. I've been considering getting the Dyson because my hair is hip length and extremely thick and kinky with no curls but tight coils that matte very easily. Please try the Revlon one step hairdryer. It is a large oval brush dryer. Better grip than the Revlon flat brush. Around $50. I have the flat one and it tangles.

Oh baybee i use my dyson every week this video is oooold 😭 but i also use my diffuser to set my natural curls. Dont do that. Go find my instagram and see me use it to this day and see how my hair is after i big chopped a year ago. One thing i dont dont do is lie online esp for something i used my own dang money for. Dont do me like that. I was sick as a dog cut off my hair and used dyson anyway and the proof is out on my instagram using dyson until my hair grew back.
