Ultrasound imaging of a 4 mm myometrial calcification in the uterine fundus shows a small, echogenic area with posterior shadowing. Color Doppler reveals no vascularity, and the twinkle sign is absent, indicating a non-vascular and poor density calcification. This calcification is often benign, likely resulting from dystrophic changes due to prior fibroids, aging, or inflammation. In an otherwise normal uterus, it is typically incidental, asymptomatic, and clinically insignificant, requiring no further intervention. The patient’s prognosis remains unaffected by this finding.
