YESSSS!!! I always educate bout "cyst" vs follicle. makes me CRAZY that they then have follow-ups over & over for these 1.8cm CYSTS. 🤯

how to differentiate normal sized normal looking ovaries from normal sized polycystic ovaries assuming stromal echogenicity as subjective? any relevance for Nebothian cyst since some authors claim they represent chronic cervicitis?
@SonographicTendencies3 жыл бұрын
Ultrasound is not required for PCOS diagnosis. But stromal echogenicity, peripheral follicles “string of pearls” and increased volume can aid in diagnosis. Often times though the ovaries look normal.

Great and very helpful video. Any tips to scan the ovary? Having hard time to scan ovary. Thank you
@SonographicTendencies3 жыл бұрын
Always go to the opposite side and angle towards the ovary. Like for the left ovary scan from the right side of the bladder and angle towards the left..
