It was a Lamborghini quote. But it originates from something similar said by Ferrari at one point. It doesn't really matter. None of them do traditional television commercials. They do "infomercials" via reviews and so on - just like most other sports car manufactures.

Ferrari wasn't cheating, it was a grey zone as all F1 team do, it wasn't legiferated. Then when FIA clarified the rule adding a law more on it, Ferrari stopped to use that trick. However is really annoying to hear that they cheat when they use a grey zone, meanwhile when Anglosaxons use grey zones they do not cheat, but they are "smart".

RB and MB wanted to know what system Ferrari was using, so Ferrari imposed to FIA a secrecy agreement, that is a thing that any F1 team can ask to FIA and FIA can't refuse it. MB wasn't forced to remove the system using oil in the engine as a loophole, it wasn't forced to remove the DAS the same season they used it, neither they was disqualified when them was found doing Pirelli secret tests at Silverstone (it was poved). Red Bull wasn't forced to remove the blown diffuser when they was using it. As i said. Anglosaxon double standard.

As punishment, Ferrari was forced to use less fuel than the maximum allowed for the entire season, which caused the team to lose power. The penalty also affected Ferrari's 2020 engine, which lost performance due to the less fuel.

There's another bit to the story of how Ferrari got it's logo: Apparently, the fighter pilot painted the horse on his plane after he saw the similar painting on one of the planes he presumably shot down. Given the fact that the pilot that was shot down could've been German, since Italy was fighting against them at a time, it is possible to believe that the painted horse on a German plane was a coat of arms of Stuttgart (hometown of Porsche) which looks very similar.

Most people don't really want to customise a Ferrari because the owners aren't that type of person and they also know that a clean spec will attract a higher resale value. Lamborghini hasn't had any major success in motorsport, their goal was to be a better road car company yet they are selling less road cars than Ferrari and even with something like an Urus. Ferrari has been the most profitable car manufacturer per car sold, Lamborghini is nowhere near them. So if this doesn't suggest that Lamborghini is in Ferrari's shadows, I don't know what else will. Lamborghini is only on par with Ferrari in the eyes of children, posers or fake enthusiasts.
