They asked me if i would be willing to unlock and lock the doors for special events, when the administrator, and property manager aren't available for whatever reason. My sister and her husband are bible worshippers and believe that anyone who doesn’t accept jesus as their lord and savior will burn in hell for eternity. You know, the typical insane stuff christians believe. Anyways, I asked them once what happens to people in countries where they were taught a non-christian religion? They told me that god would take into consideration the information that was available to them. I asked if that idea was in the bible and their response was to change the subject. It's not at all ironic, it's consistent the people who have been indoctrinated into religion but have a history of challenging their beliefs are likely to become atheists once they realize there is no evidence for God, and they will then continue to challenge their belief that there is no god because challenging their belief is consistent with their character because they care about what is true. But also once you come to the realization that there is no evidence for a god it becomes scary when you realize there are fuckwitz out there that you share the planet with that are making decisions that affect the rest of us based on a belief for which they have no basis. People are killing people, dictating rights, ignoring science abusing people all in the name of an invisible sky daddy for which they have no evidence and maybe just maybe some of us would prefer that the people we share the planet with use evidence and critical thinking skills before making a decision and not make a decision based on their preferred interpretation of their preferred fairy tale.

Christians always quote John 3:16, but I'm not sure they read it. They tell us we're going to eternal conscious torment, but 3:16 says we "perish." Look up that word. It means to DIE. The options are (1) believe a fanciful story and live for eternity bowing and scraping, praising and worshiping some petty, jealous god who needs this for some reason, or option (2) simply being DEAD. Easy choice for me.
