WHAT IS THE MOST VIOLENT DESTRUCTIVE ANIMAL ON THE PLANET? Is it the human?... no, it's the huge Gorilla tearing down buildings in 1930's New York.
Ricky also decides to read some of his favourite book to the audience, a little book called The Bible.

At the same time, I would disagree with his conclusion that humanity is a wholesome and loving bunch. One only needs to look at the news to see that to be false. I think the better conclusion to draw from both the hypothetical and the real example of boys trapped on an island is that we have a choice to be nasty or nice. To deny that each one of us CAN be a monster is almost as foolish as to say that each one is.

@Apollo Jones It's a tough one - I'm thinking about dark matter & dark energy and quantum weirdness - so much we can't test and yet we build our understanding of the universe on it. That's why in Sweden we tend not to confirm or deny. Your approach is scientifically valid, though not necessarily the most rational for a lot of people. By rational, I just mean a way of thinking that allows us to get on with our lives. For the scientist, your approach is an absolute necessity. When I'm lying on my deathbed and have nothing else to contribute, I might allow myself to hope for a heaven, just to make it through the last hours. 👁 👁 👁️ 👁️ 👁 👁 👄 👄 👄 Similar to a scientist using dark matter to explain how stars move in a galaxy - it might be a dead end or it could lead us to truth.

Well, if we go to the Bible, it warns of drunkeness, most famously would probably be 1 Corinthians 6:10: "Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God". So, God does not like people getting wasted. And who can blame Him for that? Ever tried being sober around drunk people? We do tend to become obnoxious, do stupid things, say stupid things and so forth when we are drunk. Does that mean we can't have a beer? Well, if you get drunk on one beer, then it does, but for most people that would not be the case. Moderation is the key word.

So then go to his fate too if you think he's so great. How did he get around the first verses of the bible with God creating and giving life? Real science says nothing does nothing. Real science says if there was something there already it must fit with the evidence of what we know. We know the 1LT says there's a conservation of energy. It can change forms and neither can be created or destroyed. Creation cannot happen by natural means. The 2LT has various aspects, one being the universe is winding down, entropy. Usable energy is becoming less usable, so at one point usable energy was at its max. This all points to a supernatural creation, by a supernatural creator at a certain point in which matter, space, and time were created. When I read how it can happen otherwise, ALL the fools resort to science-fiction. Once a supernatural creation is accepted, then the next step is finding proof of what supernatural power did it. We KNOW these laws. We have NO doubts about them. We also KNOW that the laws of nature can't come about without a Lawgiver, God. Life only comes from life. Law of biogenesis. God is the reason for us and all we have. kzbin.info/www/bejne/gJqwoq2ElL6Gjrc The odds are NOT there. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jWLCfHiMlqisl6M kzbin.info/www/bejne/r4icmJStr79_qc0 kzbin.info/www/bejne/mpXEooarqdlol9k

@@2fast2block From what I understand, you are looking at comics for scientific answers. The Big Bang was not the origin of the universe, rather it's an explanation of how our current universe came to be, and of course it's mentioned all over science that we don't know what happened before that, but that's why we are sending space telescopes like Hubble and James Web, so they can help us to learn about our early universe. And you are suggesting that the universe exists because of some supernatural being. So how about asking the same question about that supernatural being's origin, and why is that supernatural being eathernal? And what if there is another creator of that supernatural being? The same question can be repeated about that supernatural being. Many people who believe in God ask the question how something comes from nothing, and of course it's a misinterpretation of real science because science never said that something comes from nothing, but rather religious people come to that conclusion. Real science never said something comes from nothing, but rather the universe comes from a single dense point in space, and the real question is where that single dense point comes from, which is something science is currently trying to answer. And I have a question for religious people. Can God make a being more powerful than himself? If not, then God can not do anything. And if he can, then he is not the most powerful.

@@nofreewill "The Big Bang was not the origin of the universe," Liar, for laughs show me where I said it was or just keep on strawmaning because you have nothing to get around what I gave. "So how about asking the same question about that supernatural being's origin," You are a graduate of Nitwit University. All you have to do is remember "Who created God?" and you can mix things up a bit with the same basic question. All the laws of nature somehow suddenly disappear for you dolts, that one stoo-pid question is your cure-all. So in your way of shallow thinking, if a supernatural creator created the natural realm, then that supernatural creator who created the natural realm with its natural laws has then become also bound by those natural laws the supernatural creator created. So explain why a supernatural creator is also bound by the laws the supernatural creator created. Or, show how smart you are and just give your science for creation happening naturally and don't forget to give your science how the natural laws were created, too. If you want to act smart, it may be a good idea to actually show you are. "Real science never said something comes from nothing" You have your side with the fake science. That's why you can't get around real science I gave. Hawking, "Because there is a law such as gravity, the universe can and will create itself from nothing," he writes. "Spontaneous creation is the reason there is something rather than nothing, why the universe exists, why we exist." Richard Dawkins sums it up in his afterword: “Even the last remaining trump card of the theologian, ‘Why is there something rather than nothing?,’ shrivels up before your eyes as you read these pages. If ‘On the Origin of Species’ was biology’s deadliest blow to supernaturalism, we may come to see ‘A Universe From Nothing’ as the equivalent from cosmology. The title means exactly what it says. And what it says is devastating.” Yep. again..."The title means exactly what it says." Dawkins' "literally nothing": kzbin.info/www/bejne/i4WWlZmGhMl0j7c Dawkins and Krauss comedy of what nitwits they are: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iWWcaHyGl8ujpdE Richard Dawkins’ commentary on the origin of the universe: “Of course it’s counterintuitive that you can get something from nothing. Of course common sense doesn’t allow you to get something from nothing. That's why it's interesting. It's got to be interesting in order to give rise to the universe at all. Something pretty mysterious had to give rise to the origin of the universe." Lawrence Krauss wrote a book A Universe From Nothing that is something he prefers to call nothing. A nothing with space, matter, and time that somehow created space, matter, and time. “But scientists have known for centuries that nothing is the key to understanding absolutely everything, from why particles have mass to the expansion of the universe - so without nothing we’d be precisely nowhere.” (New Scientist Promotions, 21 October 2013) “We started from literally nothing; from empty spacetime containing solely the energy of the quantum vacuum, and have arrived at our Universe today, with its billions of galaxies, stars, and all that ever was or will be here on Earth. (The Physics of Nothing; The Philosophy of Everything, August 16, 2011) Alan Guth, “The universe burst into something from absolutely nothing-zero, nada. And as it got bigger, it became filled with even more stuff that came from absolutely nowhere." "In 1973, I proposed that our Universe had been created spontaneously from nothing (ex nihilo), as a result of established principles of physics. This proposal variously struck people as preposterous, enchanting, or both." Edward P. Tryon, 'What Made the World?" New Scientist "It’s then tempting to go one step further and speculate that the entire universe evolved from literally nothing." Alan Guth, Scientific American, 1996 ‘This “quantum cosmology” provides a loophole for the universe to, so to speak, spring into existence from nothing, without violating any laws of physics.’ Paul Davies You are really stoooo-pid. He was referring to the fact that time me in the Bible is nearly always treated liberally, if not as an entirely figurative measure. The use of "fourty days", "fourty years", and statements like 2 Peter 3:8 (one day is like a thousand years to God) all leave the interpretation open for what a day means in the story of creation.

@@noisy.pineapples the fact you just believe an old book because that book tells you it's real. Besides there are so many religions, and they all claim the truth based on nothing. Religious people can't see the world as it is because they already concluded their specific god is real. Despite there's not even the slightest evidence of any god being real. Basing your life on a faith is dangerous to us all. Religion makes people cut of clitorises and foreskins. And you wonder why it's silly?
@noisy.pineapples
@noisy.pineapples 3 жыл бұрын
@@marcelkuizenga I don't just believe an old book. I believe it is a reliable book because of its historical accuracy and the number of copies dating as far back as they do. There is also plenty of evidence of God being real. It philosophically just makes sense and I'd be more than happy to explore those arguments with you. We all have different ways of viewing the world, religious or not. You view the world the way you do because you don't believe in a god and I see the world the way I do because I see it as created by God. Also female circumcision is not actually a Biblical teaching, and male circumcision is not a Biblical commandment to anyone other than the Jewish people.
@aortavin8650
@aortavin8650 3 жыл бұрын
@@noisy.pineapples If you're talking Old Testament before record keeping was how it was during the New Testament, then historical accuracy is not true. I mean, we know we evolved now along with other animals, we know the Hebrews weren't slaves for 400-480 years and then had a mass Exodus with 600,000 men and even more women and children. We know the Tower of Babel story didn't happen, as languages existed well before that and, surprisingly, no one in history seemed to have any problems with random languages popping up, almost as if it didn't happen. The global flood and Noah's Ark? Absolutely no proof, but even more proof against it. How is this historical accuracy? Shouldn't a god, especially Yahweh, know the history of the world? There's also some changes to the Bible throughout history, though many are more subtle. Notably, the ending of Mark was added at a later date, and the details only grew from then on, adding more and more fantastical things to the story. We know this because we know when they were written, some 30+ years after Jesus' life. We just haven't found any of that evidence, then. Many things can make sense, depending on how you think about it or what you know. Some think the Earth is flat, some think it's a giant turtle in space, some think space doesn't even exist. It all makes sense to them, philosophically, but there's no evidence for any of those positions.
