The Nyingma temple was within easy distance from the old Sakya Center in India north of Dhera Dunn near Rajpur in Utter Pradash no doubt they study there too. There might be some intermingled within their family too. I don't know about that one.🙏

@28105wsking
@28105wsking 8 жыл бұрын
+Sangye Choga Martin : Rimpoche looks like a nice, easy- going guy, doesn't he? However, appearances are deceiving. They are not just listening, many of them are meditating. Rimpoche is not just talking, he is also touching hearts and blessing them for relationships that last thru lifetimes! Not just this one. The Bhutanese know very well what a HUGE, HUGE lama he really is. His attainment life after life is enormous and they know it. It is very awesome to be in the presence of someone like that. We would be well-advised to reconsider our own behavior around such great lamas of the past and follow the lead of the people who know and love them the best. Our very best behavior, politeness, humility and personal awe - perhaps even devotion to the ideal, are not misplaced in such company. That does not mean you suspend reason and practicality, or common human decency, nor let anyone take advantage of you at any level. These true great lamas of the past are like icebergs. They look pretty and nice and easy-going on the surface, but their bulk lies deep, deep, deep, where nice and easy-going, pretty and amiable have no meaning in the silent vastness of their realization and motivation. In the same way, our best practice is pleasant and practical, kind and loving on the surface, but deep and profound within. Leading all sentient beings to Enlightenment is serious business both on the personal and public levels. It takes tremendous personal discipline. IMHO. Anyway, Rimpoche would probably say all this is crap! LOL!

I can't remember if it was on this part, or the second, but in discussing Guru Dragpo cutting off things that "spread" -- the English word he's looking for is "infection" or "infectious." Diseases are infectious, but other things are infectious, too, like laughter, or gossip. The word covers all things that spread.

Tibetan language for tibetan and its followers are asked to learn tibetan language, which sounds logical even when there are different dielects and language among the three great province. But for bhutan it up to them, as rinphoche la always emphasis on seperate script for bhutanese. It all up you and what you want to call it.

The lotus-birth is obviously a metaphor, I can't understand how can anyone take it in a literal way. Are we also going to protest at fake blood in the movies arguing that it is ketchup or marmelade? :) All these symbols are clearly helping human mind to rise in devotion. Hope no one here thinks also about herukas or peaceful deities as literal gods and deities, they personify our own attachments, fears and tendencies tantra uses in constructive, transformative way. We should be very careful to criticize tantrism (if at all necessary) only after we have understood what it is about. My respect to DKR!

You made a very good point. Even i for one, always got confused hearing and seeing all these deity like figures and paintings, but listening to His holiness’ teachings have made me realize how everything is so profoundly represented as our own emotions! Rinpoche has been particularly very helpful in this regard, because as much as i respect my culture, traditions and religiosity of Buddhism which is also necessary, sometimes it has causer some sort or confusion for a deluded mind and being like myself. Amazing teaching!

dzongsqr rinpoche said here the GURU Rinpoche was a Pakistani and something like similar of thalyben so on but if you read Manjushri Nama samgiti? or if you believe it? if so then there is all wrote about gururinpoche , and all of the history about gururinpoche are quite similar . and there were some more good practitioners attend rainbow body or even some true amazing stories and one example that khenpo stewing rigzin was flew to the sky and disappeared in front Chinesse army. so here I have a question to you that if you knew that guru rinpoche was born in Pakistan then which year he was born and how, where and which year he dead ?? I need this answer. if you can't answer about questions then you talking all pointless. sorry though

So our minds ultimately have the same nature but you are more realized. If your mind is more realized than mine then we can say our minds our seperate because one is more realized than the other. So the light lets us see the true nature of our mind. Then who is the giver and source of the light? So does the giver and source of light have all these minds inside his own mind refered to as emanations. I would conclude that the giver and source of light is 99.9999999999% good but possessed by one devil and that devil is the same snake you're lecturing about on video and the reason for all the drama and suffering in the world. Mtv's catfish. Just dropping a jewel on yall. The safest teacher to follow is Avolokiteshvara. Developing true devotion to the tree of life you will most certainly get the result promised according to the buddhist dharma. There is no one greater. All the religions and religious texts give reference to the tree of life and nobody looks like a tree more than him.

For somebody who has deeper knowledge of Buddhism, his talk has no deeper substance. Its just either stretching or jumping the subject matter without going deeper into its authentic origin. Sad, some new age Lama's just assume that they know everything. He has to study deeper before giving such teachings..

"knowledge" of Buddhism is ignorance. Buddha taught awareness and meditation. He was meditator,, not a knowledge seeker/scholar. Only fools study scriptures. Buddha didn't. Knowledge is a hindrance towards meditation. Because knowledge is concerned with the mind. Meditation is a state of no-mind.
