There is a special type of prasadham made exclusively for sathyanarayana pooja. Its caaled sabhadhapatcham. Rava, sugar, ghee equal quantity with banana. Similar to kesari. It is very important for this pooja.

So happy to note that you are getting yourself involved in so many aspiring things. Few suggestions for doing this pooja and if you are interested please do consider .. Every pooja has certain rituals to be followed hence it is better if you call a purohit and start doing this pooja. Normally for Sathyanarayana pooja we do something called Sapatha for neivedyam.This is nothing but rava kesari .Here we add equal measurements of ghee,sugar,rava along with mashed ripped banana .Please note here we should not add any colour. After every story you can offer dry fruits as prasad. Let Sathyanarayan swami's blessings be on your family.
